Nice hotelPosted Jul 11, 2014
Very spacious rooms and aesthetically pleasing. Some issues with sound proofing though, in that you can hear people walking around in the hallway and outside on the street. Also there is a rather steep climb to get up to the main street. Nice view from the restaurant during morning breakfast, which is included. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Overall would recommend despite some shortcomings.

This hotel is perfectPosted Jul 4, 2014
Cons: A pool.
Location: Hop on the tram and go anywhere!
The hotel is located in a quiet side street across from the Italian embassy. It is a 5 minute walk from the tram that will take you to the main points of interest within 10 minutes. The hotel is beautiful. There is a little library with books about Istanbul and a computer with a printer right off the lobby. The breakfast restaurant on the 5th floor has a view of the water and the Topkapi palace. It could not be more beautiful. The staff are first rate and their recommendations are spot on. They have detailed maps they give you and we did not get lost once. While there are bigger chain hotels in Istanbul, I would book this one again. The room was big and the bathroom was huge, with both a shower and bubble bath. Plus you get a handmade chocolate on your pillow as a reward for hiking Istanbul's hills all day. I stay in many hotels and this has to be one of my favorites ever.

Beautiful hotel in a great location.Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Location and room space.
Tom Tom is a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious (room 24) and comfortable and are furnished beautifully. The art work on display is truly outstanding too. Lots of warm welcomes and smiles from the team that work there too.

Hidden Gem with the best staff everPosted Jun 8, 2014
This is a hotel that understands that service makes the difference. It is situated in a quiet street and yet only minutes from the busy shopping, restaurant and bar area below Taksim square. When we arrived the manager spent at least 30mins with us planning our 3 day stay. He helped us with restaurant choices and then made all the reservations when we had made our choices, advised us on travl options and what sights were a must see. The hotel is a 5min walk to the Tophane tram stop that takes literally 10mins to get you to the Sultanamet stop for the mosques and palace etc. Our room was well appointed and very quiet. The hotel has a very nice restaurant that we did not happen to use other than for breakfast and the views were fab.

First class stay in IstanbulPosted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Everything especially the room and location.
Cons: None, it´s perfect!
Location: Turkish bath, cafes and restaurants and it´s a short walk from Taksim where the shopping area is.
Tom Toms is unparalled in comfort and service. The suite is huge, and the marble floor is heated. Any request is answered to best of their ability. A big suite was offered to me to shower and refresh myself before my late flight. The rooftop view and breakfast is a daily delight and the hotel is just down the road from the best Turkish bath spa in Istanbul. Look for Nural the front desk guest relations - he´s the best and gives you hand-drawn maps and advice to find your way around.

Great Istanbul hotelPosted May 29, 2014
Location: Great location, quiet street but near to great restaurants, short walk to the tram line linking you to all the major sites.
Staying at the Tomtom was a great experience. The location is so good, very quiet for central Istanbul, but just a short walk away from Istical cadesei, and short walk to the team which takes you to Sultanahmet. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly, I would highly recommend this hotel,

Location: Excellent location
A superb boutique hotel with an incredibly efficient, caring and friendly staff, The rooms are very modern with excellent furniture and amenities, and the restaurant is a joy. One of the best small hotels we have enjoyed in 40 years of international travel.

Good locationPosted May 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
As discussed the location is ideal for walking to many sights. We had good meals at the local restaurants (1 in campo de fiore and La Brie). We advised our approx. arrival time and someone was waiting to meet us. The room was quiet and roomy enough for our needs.

Best location in IstanbulPosted May 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Mercifully free of aggressive shopkeeps, steps to the best restaurants in the city (go toward the Asia side rather than Topkapi Square to hit cute neighborhoods) And a mere 10 minute cab ride from all the sites in New York City. While there were a few minor hiccups --the front desk guy seemed bizarrely uninformed and out internet was out-- the hotel is phenomenal. Huge rooms, fantastic beds, gourmet chocolate on pillows, Nesoresso machines, you will be in heaven. No pool but there's an excerpt hamam nearby-- look up the hours, our hotel recommended it but didn't know what I knew in 30 seconds of googling -- women only till 4:30, men only at night .

Beautiful small hotel close to Taksim amenities.Posted Apr 21, 2014
The service and attention to detail at this boutique hotel is exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful in making itinerary and restaurant suggestions. The restaurants they recommended were very good value and excellent food. We stayed in two rooms #23 and #21 and found them to both be extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and very clean. The access to Sultanahmet was quick and easy via the tram or a walk across the bridge. We would stay here again and will be recommending it to our friends.
