“Still very good, but for the ventilation...”

My fifth time at Wow Airport Hotel... and three times it has been too warm, with uncontrollable "controls" for heat and cooling, and locked up windows. The breakfast buffets are satisfactory: vast but not very interesting by Turkish standards. Two noteworthy aspects of the hotel: free airport AND city center shuttle works beautifully, especially if you know WoW is locally pronounced as the English word, "Woe," -- in case you need to ask where the shuttle stops. The location is very, very convenient. At first it is confusing to know whether you are dealing with the Wow AIRPORT or the Wow Conference Hotel, linked and adjacent, but the latter is a bit more expensive and services a bit different. Overall, Wow Airport is a very satisfactory place to stay.

“Close to the Airport, but...........”

I have stayed in the Hotel, however the Matresses Are very very Old so are the pillow. Both needs urgent repacement. The rooms are very impersonal almost steril. The Carpets in the Halls are just as Old worn and stained. Both needs urgent repacement as well. The staff are nice and well trainer but the entire atmosphäre Seen cold. It needs More comfort. The Breakfast Buffet is very Short. It lacks a Station for Egg Dishes. It servers only Hard Boiled eggs. The Food selection is very short of Specials. It would Take a Moevenpick Operation. They could learn a Lot.

Area recommendations

The Hotel is too far away from everything except the Airport.

“Good airport hotel”

Hotel is nice, conveniently by the hotel although shuttle service does not correspond with early/late flight arrivals and departures. During daytime hours it is easily accessible by train. Good choice when looking for a jump-off point to select a downtown hotel.

“Avoid this hotel”

Although very convenient to airport, I wanted to leave the minute I arrived. Carpet was very stained and had not been vacuumed. My "non-smoking" room was very smoky. Bed linens felt like they had not been changed. Included breakfast was tasteless. Not representative of a 4-star hotel, nor of any other hotel that I stayed in during my trip to Turkey. Pleasant staff.

“FYB”

It is a very nice hotel, very close to the airport, they have a shuttle from there. It is very clean the room is big, everything automatic inside. The staff are friendly. They offer a buffet breakfast with a lot of choices and good food.

“Convenient to airport”

The most confusing thing about this hotel (which I did not understand until I got there) was that there are 2 WOW Airport Hotels side by side, but one is a 5 star and one is a 4 star. The taxi drivers want to know which one you have reservations for. Mine turned out to be the 4 star. Both are very nice and convenient to the airport. The business center is in the 5 star hotel, but even if you are in the 4-star one, it is an easy walk. My room was wonderful - clean, spacious, modern. Breakfast is included, but was fairly typical as hotel breakfasts in Turkey go.

“Gross”

This hotel was not accurately advertised; photos did not depict the real thing. Very dirty carpeting throughout the hotel including the room. Food crumbs by the bed and nightstand. Grime along the shower door. Let's not forget to mention the metal detector at the front entrance! Terrible....

“Not a four star hotel”

There is a 5 star hotel Wow and what was called a 4 star hotel Wow side by side. The room in the 4 star was dirty, i.e. not vacuumed, linens questionable, tiny flying bugs in bathroom. Maybe the 5 star place is the one getting good ratings, but that was not the hotel where my room was located.

“Excellent service.”

The staff is very helpful and the hotel is conviniently close to airport + rooms are spacious and tidy.
