Good choice for overnight at Istanbul airportPosted Apr 17, 2015
This is a pretty standard hotel, good for an overnight at the airport. Free shuttle runs every 30 minutes and takes about 7 minutes to the hotel. (Just wait in the shuttle area outside the terminal for it to show up--its clearly marked.) Eating options are limited but there is both a Burger King and a couple of nicer restaurants just across from the hotel, although the prices are on the high side since this is fundamentally a convention hotel.

Tough getting therePosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Great breakfast spread and wait staff, front desk was adequate, close to airport,
Cons: Shuttle service - didn't run when scheduled. Also the strange email about CC info - felt sleazy
Location: Close to airport.
Actual hotel was very pretty, built in shopping area and bar. There are 2 hotels connected, so make sure you know which one is yours - there's just a short walk if you're wrong, but it's a heads up. Breakfast had many options and was delicious. We had a hard time figuring out how/where to get the shuttle from the airport. I talked to reception twice the night before since we had a late flight in and wanted to make sure the shuttle still ran. I was assured the shuttle ran until 10:45 and that the logo on the side of the van was easy to see. We were there early but didn't see the shuttle - called the hotel and the discovered shuttle had left at 10:30 (or earlier). We had to take a taxi, which wasn't expensive, but was annoying since one of the key things for us was getting easy access to and from the airport for our overnight layover, and a taxi required getting out cash. Shuttle on the way back was easy, but check the postings at check-in because there's no service from about 11-2 pm. Also - a strange side note - they sent us an email about 36 hours before check in saying the hotel was full and unless we emailed them our credit card information they would cancel our reservation. Reception said it would be fine when I called to pay when we arrived, but it was strange and made me uncomfortable. Probably the shuttle inconvenience and request for emailed CC details would make me stay somewhere else next time.

close to the airport, accessible to the cityPosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: location by the airpot - easy to find - helpful front desk staff - so close to the commuter train (LRT) station
Cons: the shuttle from the airpot - where are the signs? where is anyone who could explain? why does the website not explain what to expect from the shuttle
We had a 38-hour layover and wanted to get into a hotel early (at 11am) to sleep for a few hours before heading out to explore Istanbul. I booked through Expedia and followed up with a phone call to see about early check-in. They reasonably said they couldn't promise anything (because check-out time was 11) but they would make a note on the file and the front desk people would help if they could. It all worked out perfectly. We got in right away, the room could be made dark enough, and when we arose, we walked 3 minutes to the safe and quick light rail transit station that brought us into the heart of the City. We had a great evening, took the train back, and repeated the excursion the next day. When we needed to leave for the aiport at midnight, (we booked and paid for 2 nights, just to have a place to chill as we awaited our late flight) the hotel had a taxi waiting. They had a biz centre we used to email. The only unsatisfactory element was the shuttle: hard to find at the airport because of chaos outside the doors, and the shuttle only comes once an hour.

Clean spacious rooms but dated. Rather dull and limited overall facilities. Close and easy access to the airport by metro or shuttle.

Perfect for airport overnightPosted Mar 11, 2015
Cons: SPA very expensive!!!
Perfect for airport overnight. Very good breakfast. free shuttle and very professional and courteous staff. The only problem was the SPA is very expensive given the location and facilities, decided not to book massage.

Close to the airportPosted Mar 10, 2015
Hotel was close to the airport. But it was not well maintained. People work there was nice and friendly. For the normal prices they ask it is ridiculous. Only good thing was close to the airport.

Convenient hotel close to airportPosted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, about 1 km from airport.
Cons: The air conditioning please!
Location: The metro is nearby for access to the city centre
I was hoping for a hotel transfer on arrival, but apparently they finish at 2230 so I was too late. This wasn't specified on booking and in fact, there was no info on transfer on the paperwork. On arrival I was seen promptly and went to my room . This was suffocatingly hot , so I put on the ac. However ,it soon became clear it wasn't working as it remained stifling throughout my stay. The breakfast was great and I used the gym facilities which were good.
