Very nice hotelPosted Nov 28, 2013
Had a nice stay at the White House prior to going on a cruise. It was close to all amenities. A beautifully decorated room and very clean. There were three of us and the room had three full size single beds - no rollaway cots. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the roof top terrace for breakfast was very enjoyable. Would definitely stay thee again.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, fabulous location near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia as well as the Sultanahmet tram stop, near decent restaurants, lovely romms, god for a business traveller like me, even better for a couple!

Wonderful HotelPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The hotel staff, the beautiful room, the modern bathroom, the pleasant rooftop breakfast.
Location: A panoramic view of the Bosphous would have been nice, but we had that in one of our other hotels, and the room there was nowhere as nice.
Exceptional hotel in Old Town (Sultanahmet) Istanbul. After several hotels during our travels in western Turkey, we spent a final night at the White House Hotel. What a warm reception, attention to our comfort, high end beautiful room. It was all about the personal touch, with a immaculately clean room and modern bathroom. We could not have imagined better.

Nice hotel, close to all historic sitesPosted Sep 9, 2013
All of the personal reviews of this hotel is right on target. This boutique hotel is within walking distance of all the historic sites. Upon arrival, I was given a small gift, and upon parting, I was given another small gift. My room was clean and cozy, and the room stayed cool, even after I "turned off" the electricity. I wish I could have stayed another night there. It's a bit pricier than I would normally pay, but it was well worth it.

Pretty and comfortable hotel. The staff are nice.Posted Aug 26, 2013
White House Istanbul was a very pretty and comfortable hotel. Interior was nice European (maybe Istanbul) style. I found it cute. I could see Ayasofya from the rooftop where I had breakfast, that became a good memory of my trip. Access to the tramvay was perfect. Also, I was impressed by their service, all the staff were friendly and very kind. One good thing was that they offer free one way transfer airport-hotel. The room was a little small, but maybe that is because it's located in the middle of Istanbul's scenic sites.

Great hotel in centof the sightsPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful stay. hotel was helpful with planning and airport connections. Great restaurants right around corner as well as the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The tram station is also only about 200 yards away as well and its super easy to use to get around the city.

A Hidden Gem!Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: Friendly and accomodating staff.
Location: Central location ideal for walking to all sightseeing attractions.
Based in the heart of Sultanahmet, this is a gem of a hotel. The staff are welcoming and cheerful, the decor fresh and clean. We had booked in to a triple room which was more than adequate for our needs, with one of the best showers I have ever used abroad! Any additional requests we made of the staff were met with cheerful compliance. Breakfast on the roof terrace set us up for the day. All in all, a great stay and a place I would recommend to friends without hesitation.

A Turkish TreatPosted Aug 7, 2013
Location: Amazing for sightseeing
We would rate White House as four and a half, it is decorated in Turkish style, which we enjoyed. Our welcome was lovely and despite being early in the morning, they found an upgraded room for us. The position is amazing, you can walk to everything.

The staff are the best thingPosted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I would highly recommend this small hotel if you're spending a few days sightseeing in Istanbul. It's in the old city, close to the main sites and the tourist areas. The staff are great - very helpful & friendly.

Newly refurbished 3*** with great servicePosted Jul 7, 2013
Pros: Exceptional service
Cons: Small room and bathroom; poor breakfast
Location: Ideal to see the sights of Sultanahmet
Excellent service and a super location to see the main sights. It is however not a boutique hotel as claimed. The luxury expected of such a facility was not on offer and the room and bath room that we got were very small. Breakfast was ordinary at best. The staff do try hard to please.
