Nice hotel but close to the sights.Posted May 22, 2015
It's a nice hotel and a good value. Really close to the main sights. Problem is, if you want to get out for fun you're better of staying in new istanbul. The hotel is in a boring, way more conservative part of the city.

Great locationPosted May 12, 2015
Walk to all the sites. Housekeeping staff can be aggressive with their tasks. They knock once, and then just immediately enter the room. On one occasion, they tried to enter twice, while I was in the bathroom, within five minutes of each other, at 8:15a. Thank goodness I used the chain lock. Otherwise a great hotel.

Pros: perfect location
Location: 200 m to vezniciler metro station to taksim 200 m from bus station to fatih mosque 100 m from tram station to sultan ahmet area
we stayed in this hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary. First, we received a complementary heart mousse cake with strawberries and drinks. Every person in the staff is devoted to his job. They are always smiling and really helpful. The manager is always around helping out from the breakfast room until the reception area at night.. The hotel is located perfectly for any kind of transport. The tram is just 100 m away. the metro is only 200 meters behind the hotel. so you can go where ever you want with public transportation. i would surely recommend this Hotel

Lovely hotel. Attentive, accommodating staff.Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: We like the area, Old City - it's bustling and virtually walking distance to the sights we wanted to visit.
Location: Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Topaki Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern were all walking distance. For us, Galata Tower, Taksim was a short taxi ride away.
My daughter, son and a friend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wyndam. The staff was so attentive to our needs. We enjoyed the Spa, the restaurant was very good, the beds comfortable.

Lovely hotel in heart of the city.Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, style, staff.
Location: Only 100m or so from stops on the main tram route through to Mosques & Topkapi
Close to shopping, restaurants & main tram route to tourist attractions. Also close to Aksaray metro station on the line from the airport. We were upgraded to Executive Suite which was a real bonus.
