Quiet and secludedPosted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: It's location, cleanliness and the breakfasts which catered to all tastes.
Cons: The rooms could do with an update, especially the bathrooms but they are ok. The communal areas are large and impersonal, you could be anywhere.
Location: On the edge of town so able to go walking straight out of the hotel along great coastal paths with well spaced bars dotted along the path.
Situated on the edge of Rovinj, close to the forest park this hotel is quiet and laid back. The grounds, pool and "beach" are beautifully kept, blending into the natural environment. The centre of Rovinj is a good twenty to thirty minute walk away along a coastal path, so not suitable if you are not looking to walk a lot. Bikes can be hired at the hotel and they were very popular both to get into town and to explore the many longer distance cycle tracks. The centre of Rovinj is picturesque, and easily explorable. It's steep and cobbled, full of quirky alleys, steep steps, tall houses crammed into every available space on the old Island. It's full of eating houses, Knick-knack shops, stalls and bars and busy by day and in the evening. There are restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets and we enjoyed some stunning seafood in lovely locations.

EdenPosted Jul 22, 2014
Lovely holiday, hotel was great but staff were not quite up to UK standards of friendly customer service, but I would still stay here again. Just remember your hair dryer, the ones in the room are like hand dryers.

Pines and seaPosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel Eden fulfils the criteria for most people's holiday dreams as it is set in beautiful pines between a national park and a pretty seaside town which has character. The big free form swimming pools are salt water and within a minute's walk is the first of dozens of beautiful coves with clear water, small refreshment cafés with loungers and hammocks and even massage tents with seriously well qualified practitioners. The hotel's Oleander outdoor restaurant is sleek Scandi chic with regular live music. The hotel puts on a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. The gym, spa, sauna, Turkish bath and indoor pool are beautifully sleek and a pleasure to use. Rovinj itself is about 5 minutes' stroll along a new promenade oath with the first restaurants in easy reach. Venture further into the harbour, marina and town centre and there is music, dancing, a good choice of bars and restaurants. Hotel Eden's position and facilities can't be faulted.

I wouldnt go back!!!! We had to store the buggy outside in the corridor and the bags on the balcony. I was so disappointed I didnt unpack for 2 days. Reception staff were rude. Rovinj is amazing and I will be back there. The rooms were the smallest Ive ever stayed in, while the grounds were fantastic. The kids club was hidden away and as I was given the wrong directions twice no one sent their kids there, so not fun for any child to be sitting in a room by yourself.

Comfortable, good value hotelPosted Oct 8, 2013
Fairly recently renovated hotel situated in parkland, about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the old town of Rovinj. Free outside parking. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Due to lousy weather we had buffet dinners x 2 in the hotel, and these were good value with a wide selection of food.

really comfortable stay in RovinjPosted Sep 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We moved to hotel Eden when confronted with hard as plywood beds at a holiday rental we had booked. Hotel Eden really delivered, with very comfortable beds, and we got the sleep we needed. Breakfast was very good, with the exception of the coffee. Also, the hotel was very conveniently located a short walk from the main waterfront of Rovinj.

Lovely hotel with good leisure facilitiesPosted Jul 30, 2013
Cons: More staff at Reception desk
Well maintained surroundings around pool, ideal for relaxing. Beach closeby and town centre is within walking distance. Perfect for families. Buffet breakfast has huge variety. Rooms could be in more recent shape.
