Top notch among the inn-level

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Hygiene condition, service and breakfast. The suite is very comfortable for family travelers.
Cons: Change the water of the pool more frequently - it was almost opaque during my stay
Very very clean hotel and absolutely exceeded our expectation at this price level.

Ideal base for visiting the Finger Lakes

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Size of room, fridge and microwave in bedroom, complementary tea, coffee and snacks in reception. Pool and exercise suite.
Cons: none
Location: Easy access for visiting the finger lakes, Watkins Glen, Waterloo Outlet village
modern hotel, spacious and comfortable room with added benefit of separate seating area and tv. Very clean bedroom and bathroom area's. Facilities better than some of the larger and more expensive chains we have stayed in.

Nice hotel close to Ithaca College

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: The room felt cold even when the a/c was adjusted.
Location: The hotel is very close to Ithaca College. We enjoyed local restaurants such as Moosewood & the Ale House. Swimming at Treman Falls State Park is rx.
We stayed here for two nights for a visit to Ithaca College. It's very close to the college & convenient to other area attractions. The kids enjoyed the pool & complimentary cookies.

Not what I reserved

Posted Jul 22, 2014
I originally directly called this hotel to make a reservation as we have stayed here many times on our visits to Ithaca, but unfortunately they were sold out. However, I was able to reserve a King Suite w/pull out sofa room through Expedia which was perfect since my husband and I were travelling with our 17 year old son. When we arrived we were told that there was no sofa in the room nor any cots available. There was one room available but we would have had to pay for an additional room. (The king suite was overpriced and more than I had paid for in the past so I was not willing to pay for an additional room). The staff was accommodating in giving us extra blankets to use on the concrete floor, but when we were expecting a pull out sofa for our son who had just finished an intense football camp, sleeping on the floor was not the most ideal. I was told to contact Expedia to change the description of the room.

Nice hotel for Ithaca/Cornell visit

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Suite setup (bedroom & living room with a door inbetween), cleanliness, pool, breakfast
Cons: Clock/radio was set an hour early (it was set for the wrong time zone), so we ended up waking up an hour early
Location: Nice view, but nothing much else there - short drive to Ithaca where there is plenty to do and see.
The room was nice and we received a free upgrade (not sure why). Staff was friendly and helpful. Short drive to Cornell, which is where we were visiting.

Met our needs nicely

Posted Jun 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
...with the exception of the breakfast. Our room was comfortable and clean! When it comes to breakfast, this is no Embassy Suites. You are best served by sticking to the yogurt and bagels rather than what comes out of the steam trays...The "omelettes" were rock hard and inedible as were the french toast. Some of this I hope to blame on post graduation weekend. It's probably most convenient for an Ithaca College visit. We were here post Cornell graduation.
