Expensive but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Suite was clean, well furnished and inviting & the included breakfast buffet proved excellent value.

School Visit

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: The comfortable, clean room, the polite staff, the well maintained pool and workout area, and the quiet location.
Cons: Two minor issues with the shower head assembly and the flow of water in the toilet (third floor). Also the room was not made up until after 4:30 PM.
Location: Stunning waterfalls. Incredible farmer's market. Purity Ice Cream (Rt 13 and Cascadilla Street) - yum! Main location of Ithaca Bakery (N Meadow st)
Being on a tight budget we were please to find out that in addition to complementary breakfasts there were also complementary dinners Monday through Thursday, with complementary beer and wine. It was nothing special but not bad, and it meant that when we did choose to eat out we didn't have to be quite as frugal. The location is right off of the main highway on the Cornell side of town (Cayuga Heights) and is next to and within walking distance of a dated strip center that houses two gastronomic gems: the Ithaca Bakery and the Ithaca Coffee Company. I warn you, go into the Ithaca Coffee Company and you may find yourself skipping the complementary breakfast at the hotel. They have the best coffee east of Seattle - period. The Bakery is good but does not have the atmosphere of the main location at N. Meadow St (Rt 13) and W. Court St., which is ideal for people watching. If you have never been to Ithaca, don't leave town without visiting at least one of the numerous waterfalls in and around town. Some are visible right from the roadway and others require a hike. If you are in town any weekend between April and September don't miss the incredible farmers market right on the shore of Cayuga Lake. You won't regret it.

I wanted to stay longer!

This was by far the most comfortable hotel room I've ever stayed in. I travel to Ithaca for work occasionally, and I will definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised.

Cons: Wish the breakfast had more healthy items. Bananas weren't ripe. Wish there was more fresh fruit.
Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean.

Perfect for a family with kids -- had a door between couch/bed and master bed. Small kitchen and fridge perfect for kids.
