“Don't stay here if you can”
The hotel smelled bad and felt very dirty. The carpet in our room had a huge stain and it smelled like dog feces. There was no sound insulation at all so be prepared to hear people slamming their doors and talking in the hallway all night long (there was pot smoking going on also). Anyway, we had to flee the hotel with our daughter in the middle of the night. We most definitely will not come back here again!!!
“Horrifying!”
What a horrible hotel!! I was not expecting such a run-down hole in such a fantastic town as Ithaca. I would never recommend that anyone stay here despite the affordable price compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms are outdated, grimy, riddled with cigarette burns and had an over-powering odor of some kind of air "freshener". An absolutely terrible experience that I would never wish on any other traveler. Stay far away!
“Does the job if you want a cheap place to stay overnight”
Not as bad as I thought it would be after reading other reviews. Beds were comfortable, a great location to the Commons and State theater, room was clean and the staff were friendly. Our toilet kept running because the chain would fall off in the tank and I know other rooms had issues with shower head falling off or the connecting door to another room would not lock, but for staying one night and not wanting to spend much it worked for us.
“Good place to stay traveling with dog”
This was convenient for staying with dog like a two story motel and our room grounds level and could park right outside door Only negative was missing turn knob on table lamp so could Nottingham turn it on to read in bed Across street from Wegman's with Thai restaurant next door. And short drive to dog park or downtown
“Retro Motel”
Can't complain about this motel in terms of price and location. Was in town for one night to do some work at Cornell, which is a short car ride away. Around the block is a top notch cafe Gimme Coffee!, and the Ithaca Commons, with lots of restaurants and stores is very close too. Place was very quite the night I was there, and I slept like a log. Perfect for one maybe two nights.
“Actually better than I thought it would be”
Hotel was clean and quiet, just off route 13 so easy to get everywhere. - Not elegant, but good basic accommodations. Fair price for the service/product provided and will consider to stay there again if visiting Ithaca.
“good for the money”
this hotel had many poor reviews but we frankly stayed there because of limited choice. We stayed in the older section and were permitted to have our dog in the room with us which saved kennel fees. The room was only fairly clean but the bed and linens were clean and comfortable. We got carry out food from the restaurant and were quite satisfied.
“Decent place to stay in Ithaca”
Fairly attractive non-chain motel. Large rooms, good internet service (wired and wifi). Off downtown area a bit, near some malls. Restaurant on site is closed on Monday and there's no close option for a full breakfast. Would stay again.
“Not impressed at all!”
I guess you get what you pay for. i was not expecting this area to be expensive but other hotels alot more money so went with it. should have known. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the towells were even horrible. We could not get wifi in our room or even the lobby and the night hotel staff was nasty. The screaming and carrying on in another room started at 2 am. Called at 5 am and was told in morning it was a child who was getting out of room. Don't think so! Morning staff much more sympathetic but no offer to refund money. Would not stay here again even if it were free!
“No Frills Stay”
This is the second time I've stayed at the Meadow Court while visiting Ithaca College. It's convenient to downtown Ithaca and to both Ithaca College and Cornell campuses. If you are looking for an affordable, no frills motel-style accomodation this is a fine choice. As long as you don't expect amenties, you'll be satisfied with this choice. I found the staff courteous and friendly.
