Tired motel, nice staff

Posted Aug 19, 2014
The motel is tired. Old and tired. And the price seems stiff for its condition. But I guess that's Ithaca. On a positive note, the staff are very nice.

Old facilities, but clean-ish

Posted Aug 12, 2014
The Meadow Court Inn was part of a 'no plans' road trip and was our only reasonably priced option as we came into town. The facilities are out of date. The parking lot was dark to the point of looking sketchy. The room hadn't been updated or equipment replaced in quite some time. But it was clean and the night clerk was very friendly. No creepy crawlies, sticky spots or stains in weird places. Just an old motel that needs an investor to update things.

Pros: Location and rate.
Okay hotel. Management should emphasize that others are staying there and it should be quiet after 11pm (not 1:54am). Also, guests should clean up public spaces where they were entertaining with other guests.

Pros: Nothing

Shower water temperature randomly got hot. Almost got scalded. Asked management to fix and they didn't get it done.

OK for one night just for sleeping

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Non smoking, no pet room was clean. Lobby smelled funny and staff never smiled or welcomed us - they seemed like they really didn't want to be there and we were imposing. The only thing they did say to us was to read off, in a threatening way, the $250 we would have to pay if we smoked or brought in pets Don't expect pillow top mattresses or anything like that in this price range. Was glad to get out after one night. There are better locations. We needed a car to do anything

Large room, fresh looking beds but worn-down

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Location near restaurants.
Cons: Appearance of hallways and lobby. Breakfast. Noise from heating unit. Way to pricey.
The itch in several patches over my body started a few days after my stay there. Since I've was away for only one night, I suspect bed bugs in this place.

convenient but...aromatic

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: cleanliness
Location: Cornell University
Nice size roo with comfortable beds and clean looking linens. The bathroom was tired looking and the coffee pot was not cleaned properly. I am pretty easy to please so I was reasonably comfortable staying there. However, there was a unique, not pleasant aroma for each hallway and vestibule. I suggest a little less carpet fresh and a little more elbow grease...
