I was desperatePosted Aug 24, 2014
Friendly staff. The rooms were below par. On the first night the floor was damp. The toilets were not in the cleanest of states. I would only recommend this hotel if you are really desperate

Fantastic place to stay if you are working. Everything in town is close by. One of the only places in town that has its own restaurant/ pub. The staff is fantastic. The pub staff makes you feel like a local and the front desk goes above and beyond to adjust to your needs if you need to extend your stay.

Just okPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: They had a good band in the restaurant/bar.
This hotel is old. The desk lampshade was dented and the bedside lamp was chipped at the base. The blanket had a hole in it and there was a black spot on the corner of the sheet. They did a very nice job folding the towels for a good presentation. The bathtub was stained and old.

Below average. There were black things in the ice from the ice machine. Gross. In desperate need of a renovation.

We loved the omlette and all the breakfast choicesPosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: The waterfall and fountain and the breakfast.
Location: Lots of places to eat, a gas station across the street and some stores.
The waiter was very friendly and sat us in the closed section just because we wanted to sit by the window. I own a B&B and am very conscious of the efforts to give good service. The desk person even gave us a $5.00 voucher towards breakfast. I would stay there again for sure.

Nice hotel close to Suny Cortland and highway.Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: It's right off the highway and 5 or 10 minutes to Suny Cortland. Free wireless internet was fast and consistent. Tv was flat screen with HDMI in ports
Cons: We thought it was fine for the price. Not much entertainment in the area.
Location: Suny Cortland and fast food, 24 hour Walmart not much else.
This is a nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and efficient. My daughter enjoyed the pool and there was a Denny's acroos the street as well as many other fast food places in the immediate area.

Could use an updatePosted Jul 9, 2014
For the price, the room was nice and comfortable but the hallway was in need of updating as does the exterior. The bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. I would stay there again

Really friendly staff at front desk. Breakfast waitress was very friendly. Breakfast was fine, plentiful, but without $5 coupon, I probably would have chosen something cheaper.

a fine value.Posted Jun 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
I really liked this Ramada. Courteous personnel, clean and well appointed rooms, fine facilities and a convenient and central location for my purposes. I think this is a hidden gem. Now, that said, don't go there expecting Ritz Carlton services or facilities. If you need to be in Cortland or that area, this is a fine hotel. I wish the rooms had refrigerators and mixroeaves, but, other than that, it was a fine place to stay. The king bed room had a sofa and that was great. The bathroom was on the small side, but it was clean and functional. Kudos on the hot water and water pressure. The curved shower curtain rod was great - more room in the shower. They should put a shelf in the shower for one's own toiletries. I also wish that hotwls , in general, went back to havo g closets when you walked into the room rather than rods out in the open. Also, one three drawer chest is often not enough space to store your stuff. The breakfast really wasn't that great. For a similar price, one can go across the street to Denny's and get made to order. These small quibbles aside, I was thoroughly impressed. The room windows open, which is so rare in hotels these days. That was a HUGE plus. I think this hotel offers a good value for the price paid.
