The hotel was much nicer than I expected, the staff were very nice, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the stay included breakfast the next morning. The hotel is also next to Wegman's, a wonderful supermarket which also has a cafe and lots of take-out food. The room was very comfortable, with good reading lights (a must for me).

“Good value”

Hotel is a good value- visiting Cornell University- good location- carpet a bit worn but hotel generally clean and acceptable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed here many times and would recommend for overnight college visits.

“Cheap, Clean and Convienent”

Would this hotel be my number 1 pick?...no....but for the price and the location, you can't beat it. Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If I was looking to save a buck I would def. go back! : )

“Did not expect to be that comfortable”

Needed a place to stay when bringing our daughter to college, and didn't want to spend a mint. We were happily surprised at the cleanliness and convenience of this hotel. Although a small, the bathroom was clean and the shower was hot with good strong spray. The towels are ready for replacement - small and thin, and the quantity could be increased. The bed was great -- but more than 2 thin pillows are required for 2 people. It was hard to sit up in bed to read, and there was only one fairly uncomfortable chair. A/C worked great. Would stay here again.

“Nicest budget hotel in Ithaca”

The hotel is clean. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms work. The staff is incredibly helpful. They worked with us when our plans changed and went out of their way to help!

“Okay but not great”

When we arrived, our room was warm and stuffy. It was summertime, and it would've been nice if the air conditioning had been turned on before our arrival. At first, the internet did not work, but after about 1/2 hour or so, it did. Otherwise, the room was okay.

“Basic, perfectly adequate”

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The services are pretty basic (breakfast is especially underwhelming) but the place is clean and reasonably-priced. There's a fantastic grocery store in walking distance -- Wegman's -- so the in-room microwave and fridge are handy for those of us on a budget.
