Grata experienciaPosted Mar 24, 2015

Beautiful Hotel with a great view and accomidationPosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Food, Comfort, Staff, Pools
Cons: The Beach
Location: Kayaking to Ixtapa Island, Bike tours, Shopping, Wind Sailing, Dolphins, Snorkeling
Me and my Girl Friend spent a week at this hotel and it was fantastic. The Staff was friendly and most could speak fluent English. The food was very good and the al la carts were fantastic. The Mediterranean was very good. It has an amazing view of Ixtapa Island. I highly recommend this Hotel. The only problem we had was the lack of a beach because we both like to play in the ocean. But on either side of this amazing hotel are beaches that are humongous and you can walk along them. And also you can go to the hotel next door and use their beach since both hotels are linked together.

first time at Azul GrandPosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: infinity pool was very nice and not as many kids in the pool spa was very good
Cons: shuttle going into town so we don't have to have a taxi all the time The bikes were not very good- have those available to check out for guests
Location: a little too far from town
The hotel was very nice. Not much was explained as we checked in. A little further out than we would have like from downtown. Great walking path outside of hotel. The beach was not much in front of hotel. There was a great beach to the left of the hotel in front of Club med for walking on. We didn't find that till day 6-no one told us.

Great Hotel, Great View, Great TimePosted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Almost Everything!
Cons: restaurant reservations
Location: Ixtapa Island, markets...
The staff was great, rooms and hotel were very clean. Great area to go shopping in, the Ixtapa Island is a great place to go and check out, find Willy! The only issue I had with the resort is the reservations for their restaurants was a crock. We were there 5 nights and could only make two reservations. The reservation office said to try and come back around 3 pm to see if anything was available, nothing ever was until 10 pm. You could go to the restaurants around 7 pm and there would be a bunch of open tables and they wouldn't seat you. Other than that the experience was great. Bring mostly Pesos, you get better deals everywhere if you use Pesos. Find Juan at the swim up bar, makes the best drinks...

Ok hotel,Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Setting was
Cons: Management who listens and followups with people.
Extremely noisy hotel at night!. No followup from management when I placed a call at 2:30 am after being woken up by extremely loud music that pounded our glass door making the room resonate with boom after boom. When someone at the infinity pool played their music which 99% of the people claimed they enjoyed the management kept coming down to the pool asking him to turn it down. We all were enjoying the music being played with the exception of one couple who complained. The couple could have gone to two other pools but chose to make a point. Clearly, the hotel management is way out of touch!

Annual Mexican beah experiencePosted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Condition and views from room and courtesy of staff throughout hotel.
Cons: Restaurant options.
Location: Right on the beach and great views.
One of 4 elevators was out the entire week we were there. "All inclusive" but limited nights for "restaurant" venues, otherwise you went to the 'buffett'. Food in buffet was not bad, we just missed the intimacy and uniqueness of a more private restaurant setting. Staff was especially helpfuland well trained. Rooms cleaned early during the day.

Nice new modern hotelPosted Feb 18, 2015
The hotel is well kept with great room cleaning service and really liked that every room has a great ocean view. The staff to a person were awesome. The food was so so, 3 different pools to chose from, only negitives were the smokers at the pools who always seemed to be 'up wind' of everybody and who appeared to be chain smokers weather in or out of the pool!!! A very quiet resort with next to nothing to do of an evening but then that's not always a bad thing.
