A daily activity program hosted by resort staff keeps guests busy with beach and pool games and contests, including bingo, volleyball, and aerobics. Tennis courts (reservations required), two outdoor pools, and a children's pool and play area offer fun for the whole family. A Kids' Club for ages 5–12 includes arts, crafts, and other activities. An on-site dive shop provides scuba-diving courses, certification, and trips at a discount for hotel guests.

Surfing and motorized water sports such as parasailing are available along the beach (surcharges for all). Snorkeling and scuba diving are very popular in this area, as is fishing. Golfers can stroll one km (0.5 mi) to play the 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., at Club de Golf Palma Real (discounts for resort guests). Or they can choose the course designed by Robert Von Hagge, at Club de Golf La Marina Ixtapa, five km (three miles) away.
