We've never stayed anywhere so fabulous. Beautiful but low key, the design is amazing. They view is outstanding and the staff staff was fantastic from check-in to check-out. The photos don't do this place justice. We certainly hope to return for another stay.

The place to stay if you are looking for true Mexican Hospitality!! The owners are wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel at home in this quaint hotel. It was exactly what I was looking for, no frills, living with locals and lots of laughter!! We stayed here for 8 days and felt very safe no matter where we went or what time of day. 6 blocks to the beach & shops..GREAT margaritas and local people along the way. If you are looking for lots of obnoxious tourists...go to Ixtapa. We spent 11 days at an all inclusive there, getting pushed, stepped on and having to get up at 445am to save a seat at the pool. Horrible..it was like a job for 11 days. My hotel of choice will always be Hotel Amueblados, where they make you feel like family. I hope to make this my stop every year for a least 3 weeks. Many thanks to Christian & Ebby for a very memorable stay.

We stayed 5 nights in April 2014. The staff is wonderfully low key... no hype. service is very pleasant and helpful at all time. The setting is on the hill overlooking La Ropa beach. It is not on the beach. However it is only about a 15 minute hike, very easy going down to the beach and a bit more strenuous coming back up. But La Ropa is close enough that we walked down to get a massage on the beach every day (200 pesos for an hour) and most were very skillful.
Several excellent restaurants with fabulous views are within a few minutes walk. The hotel pool and lounge area is so restful and beautiful that you may not want to leave it. It is very romantic. I strongly recommend it unless you are absolutely set on having a room right on the beach itself.

The resort was so clean and the staff was very attentive. The Oriental restaurant in my opinion was the best and then the Mexican. The Oyster Bar was very romantic. Short cab ride to the tourist part of Ixtapa. I recommend Emilio's pizza and The Generals restaurant if you want to get off the resort to eat.

This hotel exceeded our expectations by far. We made reservations online and were a little nervous about being charged extra fees (we've had this happen before with other hotels) when we actually checked in but everything went great, there were no hidden fees, our room was truly nice, roomy, and had an awesome view of the beach. Breakfast was included with our stay and everyone thought the good was great... Even better than a couple of restaurants we visited on the beach. We will definitely be back!
