“Lovely place all around.”

My husband and I had such a great time at the InterContinental Presidente Ixtapa that when we discussed returning to Mexico we will probably book there again. Everything was clean and the food choices were good. The beach was very nice and the pools were fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge gave us great tips on the places we wanted to visit. I hated messing up the beautiful pillow decorations that housekeeping made every day. It was nice to be withing walking distance of several shops as well. I would (and have) recommend this resort.

I am looking forward to go back to Ixtapa Intercontinental Presidente. The service and the food was good. The grill night on the beach was awesome. The staff is dedicated every day to give the best service. Also, I enjoyed the beautiful towel arrangements with flowers that they create in the room. Thank you.

This hotel was clean and the services were very good. I was not pleased with the hotel worker who sell time share. I had an a bad experience with them. This was the only bad experience I had in my stay there.

After we upgaded are rooms to ocean voew. ( no tower ) We had a blast. Even when it rained the crew kept us well intertained. Carlos was a fun cocktail waiter duriing the day. The ocean was so warm you could play in it all day. The rooms were clean, the beds has box springs. It was fun to see what the maids were going to make on your pillow. The food was out of this world. We were there for 10 nights, had 3 fiestas. So much food there you couldnt even try it all.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and well taken care of. Food was excellent, staff was concerned for you comfort, and very friendly. I would definately stay there again in the future. Beaches were breathtaking! Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

“Great value!”

The staff is amazing! From the front desk, concierge, restaurants, pool bar, entertainment, room service. They attended to our every need. Carlos at the pool, Victor at the bar and Carmen in the lounge all took excellent care of us. We always make sure to bring tip money because the staff truly deserves it! This is our 5th stay at Intercontinental in Ixtapa since 2010. It is an older hotel but reminds me of a lot of Hawaii in the 80's. We have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts that charge extra fees for room service. This hotel does not. Our favorites on the room service menu are chicken fajitas, stuffed avocado and nachos. Upgrade to an oceanfront room...it is well worth it. The food in the restaurants is authentic Mexican food and very delicious. The director of activities, Huber is awesome as well as Hugo! They have volleyball, aqua fit classes daily, also nightly activities (karaoke, casino night, dancing, fiesta). For outside activities I highly recommend the Delfiniti Dolphin experience which you can book right at the hotel. You actually get to swim and interact with the dolphins unlike Seaworld which is basically a photo op. If you are looking for free things to do you can walk to the end of the bay and see stingrays congregate by the rocks. There is also a bridge you can walk across toward the gondolas by the Pacifica Resort where there is a river mouth with crocodiles which are fed at 3pm daily. We will definitely come back again this year!

“Perfect beach location, with outstanding service”

The deluxe oceanview room had a breathtaking view of the beautiful beach, islands offshore and spectacular sunsets. Food was consistently good if not great, and the facilities were perfectly adequate. What really stood out for us was the warm, friendly and courteous service we experienced day in and day out. The staff took a special interest in our young children, and ensured we had a truly fun and memorable vacation.

“Ixtapa is the safe place to go!!!”

This has been our 4th vacation in a row here. We love everything about this hotel, the food, staff location is perfect for us. Would not want to change hotels because we would be wondering what was up at the presedente all the time. We stayed here two weeks this year, and still wasnt ready to go home. The hotel is older but I would'nt change places for nothing. If you go there dont forget to meet Carlose, he was voted the BEST waiter in all of Mexico.
