“" Good for the Price"”
I stayed at this hotel four days. At first we got a room in the 6th floor but apparently they were working on the bathroom because the shower had a big hole in it was licking. I called reception and they immediately moved me to a different room. I think this hotel is good for the price I payed. The pool is nice and the staff is very friendly, we had excellent service. Location is perfect, we found really easy our way around, everything is very close. If I could change something about this hotel would be the tv's, they are kind of old, but if you are all day out I am sure that will not be a problem for you. I just think that plasmas will give a little more credit to this hotel. Overall we liked this hotel, if you need a business center, this is not a hotel for you. They only have WIFI at the reception area and you will need to have your own computer or iPad (no printers).
“Good, quiet hotel”
As seniors, we like the quietness...not constant "pool games" and extra loud music. We also wanted a European plan (not all-inclusive), since we enjoy walking around at night looking at the different restaurants and trying out some. It's a shame that there aren't too many of these hotels left. Because of tourism being down at least 40% this year in Ixpapa, there have been many lay-offs, so service may not be as fast.
“Great Hotel”
Great Hotel for the price -- Great location
“Not impressed at all...”

“NO SHOES TO WEAR HOME”
STAYES IN HOTEL. CALLED SAME DAY AS CHECK OUT. SHOES WERE LEFT IN ROOM. BUTTTTTTT NO SHOES RETURNED TO ME. DARN IT. 65.00 DOLLARS DOWN DRAIN AND NO SHOES TO WEAR HOME.
“Stay somewhere else”
Being misled and paying two times what we should of gives you a sour taste. I would never stay in this hotel again. No hot water, dingy towels, really bad pillows(lumpy). There are definetly better places to stay in Ixtapa.
“Great stay in Ixtapa!”
This is about our 14th time to visit Ixtapa. Truly enjoyed the sun and sand. The Krystal staff are great, particularly the beach servers and the main desk staff. We had a little problem with getting all of our towels, bath mat, & wash cloths each day but the maids did a good job of cleaning the room. The local eating places are varied, economical, and serve great food. We'll go back next year if possible.
“This can't be 4 stars”
The front desk was always undermanned and frequently unhelpful.
“on't be going to the Krystal again”
My last visit to the Krystal was a "10". This time a "0". Upon check in we were given 2 pool towel tickets. I asked for 4 and was told one per person. There was not sufficint seating at the pool. We had to wait til 12noon for a lounge chair. Also there were no umbrellas to be had. It is impossible to sit in the mid day Mexican sun without coverage.. When I went to the front desk to complain, I was told he just worked there and could do nothing to help. All you people thinking about taking the meal plan think again. The line for breakfast in the a.m. was out to the lobby.
“Won't go back!”
We requested adjoining rm but when we arrived they did not have one available 2 yr in a row. Lock boxes in each room but hard to get a lock because there is not enough for each room, so we had to keep our stuff at the safe at the front desk. Had to go to the restarant to get ice and none of the waiters where very pleased about getting ice for you everyday-very inconvenient! The bathrooms are run down, leaking tub/shower, no air ventilation so smelled like an outhouse. Chairs by the pool have very dirty cushions on them, many chairs where broken and you had to beg for an umbrella everyday. There was a retaining wall between the restarant and the beach that simple fell down. This used to be a good hotel but I won't go back anymore because it is run down.
