Two lighted hard-surface tennis courts are located on the property. A tennis pro is available for private lessons; the hotel also rents racquets and balls. Activities at the main pool include water volleyball, team games, and bingo.

There are two par-72, 18-hole golf courses within a 5-minute drive of the Dorado Pacifico. The Ixtapa Marina, home to a variety of charters, water sport concessions, is also less than a five-minute drive away.

Explorer’s Club for kids featuring supervised activities open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm for kids 4 to 12 years old. All Explorers’ Club staff is certified by the Red Cross in CPR for children. Children will enjoy a theater for performing their own plays, arts & crafts, playground, a water fountain, movie nights and sand castle competitions. We even have a weekly campout adventure for the kids (with parents’ approval, of course)!

The Core Zone Teens Club allows teenagers 13 through 17 to cut loose and really have the time of their lives. Located next to the Explorer’s Club, the Core Zone features nightly entertainment, daily activities and a vast array of sports and games. Activities include:
