Knowledgeable and properly trained Hotel Staff. Its a professionally run Hotel, happy to assist with requests. The location is perfect. Great restaurants & shops. If its a pizza, Venedik Pizza is close by & the food/shopping at Konak Pier is very good. The Old Town is a short distance away.

Extremely overpriced
My room did not correspond to the status of the hotel. Very old room the charges that I was paying extremely high. I’m definitely not booking this hotel ever again and I’m not recommending this to anyone. Stuff is friendly restaurants is good, but this is all when it comes to this hotel

The hotel is okay - but not amazing that I would want to stay again. We arrived on April 23, and the room AC didn't work. We were informed that central heating was still on for the whole hotel, and that air conditioning individual rooms was not an option. The staff was friendly and offered a fan, which was a reasonable solution. The hotel is walking distance to the seaside and to so many shopping and dining options.

It has the comfort (silent, clean, safe, comfy bed) of a five star hotel in the city center (easy access). But the roof bar was not operating so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful city view with a drink. There was not also in-room coffee maker.

On my final night there was no hot water to shower with. I tried to tell the reception, but 3/4 of the staff behind the desk disappeared into an office as I approached. The one person left behind seemed to not understand what I was saying to her. I asked a local colleague to report my issue in Turkish and the hotel response "was rude" in the words of my colleague.

I liked the location. Only few staff can speak good English, most of them I had difficulty communicating with them. I also did not like the loud noise coming from the nightclub on the 11th floor to my room on the 9th floor. They were not flexible to extend the checkout one hour, but they were nice to provide me with a room to pray and I really appreciate that.

For my first time in izmir i chose the movenpick hotel, expecting standard high quality service, we came in and no one offered to carry our luggage, or take them, the receptionists did their jobs but were very scanty when it came to inquiries and information, as if they expect you to know everything, barely eye contact, we took the wrong elevator and no one bothered to guide us to the right elevators, however tgrre was a receptionist at night who took the time to explain and did his job well and had a smile on his face :) i chose to have breakfast the following morning, i was told by the receptionist that it cost 14€ (around 250 turkish lira), when i finished they hurried to bring me the receipt where it cost 300 tl, overall not really crazy about the 5 star hotel

Great hotel for families.
We stayed as a family of four, two adults and two children. We got two rooms at the end of the long hallway where there is an additional door when closed you can leave your rooms' doors open to connect two rooms which is a handy feature for families with children. The breakfast is quite rich and location is perfect - walking distance to all major locations in İzmir.
