Cozy and comfortablePosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Location, perfect size, home-like, great wi-fi
Cons: not a fan of dogs in the lobby
Location: Teton Village. Hiking, rafting, cycling, hunt/fish, winter ski, chuckwagon dinners :)
We were there in the summer season-- laid back, no crowds, beautiful scenery, right next to the Tram. Liked the complimentary breakfast, coffeemaker in room was great too. Hot tub and sauna awesome.

We had a great time at the Alpenhof.Posted Aug 16, 2014
We had a great time at the Alpenhof. We stayed at a higher starred hotel in Jackson the following night and the whole family wanted to go back to the Alpenhof. Nice place with a very nice staff.

Charming hotelPosted Aug 8, 2014
Location: We rode the gondola to the top of the mountain. What a great view!
We enjoyed a one night stay at this Swiss inspired hotel. The hotel is located right in the heart of Teton Village with the beautiful mountain as a backdrop. The details of the building felt very Bavarian. The personnel were gracious and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was outstanding!

Cons: Service in restaurant, very bad
Location: Close to park, trails, river float
We pick this hotel for it's location to Grand Teton. It's located very close to park in small very nice town. Hotel was ok, kind of old fashion but nice. However we would not recommend the restaurant/bistro in the hotel. The service was very bad, with almost 1hour wait for food, with restaurant almost empty. We waited 15 minutes just to get utensils, and instead we got ice in dirty glass with someone's else lipstick on it. The bar area was occupied with yong people very loud and drank. They even charge us the wrong prize for our food selection. We gave them on more try for breakfast and that was much better then dinner the night before. Overall I would probably pick different hotel from many in that small village.

Great location...needs updating.Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The front desk staff was friendly and accomodating and the continental breakfast was delicious. It also has a great location in Teton Village.
Cons: Definitely needs renovating.
Location: Our 12 year old daughter loved the new Aerial Ropes Course just up the hill. There is also mountain biking, hiking and a trampoline for kids.
Our family spent 2 nights at the Alpenhof last week while visiting Grand Teton National Park, Jackson and the Yellowstone area. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating and they did have a computer in the lobby with free WiFi and a printer for guests to use. They offer a free continental breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It's European buffet style, offering bread and cheeses along with more American style offerings such as eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast and mixed fruit cups. This was definitely a bonus. We were a bit disappointed in the room which was very dated and dark. There was very little space to lay our suitcases on and the old, dark heavy furniture made the room feel claustrophobic. Thankfully we didn't need to be in the room, other than for sleeping. However, for the price we paid for each night, I would expect a more updated room.

Quiet hotel with friendly staffPosted Jun 30, 2014
Location: Used this as a central point for Yellowstone and Grand Teton Parks and the city of Jackson. The float trip booked in Jackson was fantastic.
Nostalgic hotel with excellent staff. Not in the hustle and bustle of Jackson, but close enough. The restaurant is on the expensive side, but breakfast was complimentary. The first day our breakfast was made to order. Days 2 and 3 were a buffet which was a let-down after day one – probably due to lower occupancy levels – but only by comparison. The fresh baked pastries were wonderful. First time I’d had a coconut croissant and they were amazing!
