“Quiet area with super-comfy beds!”

As another reviewer wrote, Alpine Vista is part of the Snow King Resort - it doesn't even say Alpine Vista anywhere, but I guess the rest of the resort is condo rentals, not a hotel. I ended up staying in two separate rooms and both were comfortable. The King beds are especially nice and the room layout was good. My chief complaint would be the room lighting. While I'm sure it's great for a romantic or relaxing stay, it was vastly inadequate for doing any reading or work on my laptop - way too dark!! The hotel did provide a nice dining directory for Jackson that had maps and sample menus - a real bonus with all the options available! The location is very quiet - but if you want to be in the thick of the action, or within walking distance of downtown Jackson, this would not be a good choice (it's maybe a mile from the center). I did notice that the town bus made frequent stops at the inn, so you wouldn't need to drive if you wanted to go downtown. Overall a comfortable stay - I'd recommend it!

As the hotel is actually Snow King Resort,I don't understand why they book under two names. Besides that, the hotel was very good alround. Certainly one that I would recommend to others and stay there again myself.

“A nice 3 star hotel”

The hotel is really a resort that has some rooms for lease by the night. It's an older resort, but well kept. It was clean and the beds were great. I loved the linens and all the pillows on it. We only stayed one night, but it was an excellent place for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel sits at the bottom of a ski run and is so picturesque. Everything about the hotel speaks class!!

“Alpine Vista Lodging - can't wait to go back!”

We were able to spend 3 days in Jackson, Wy, and when we checked in at the Snow King Resort, were surprised and delighted to find that rather than a hotel room, we had been placed in a beautiful condominium. The living room had a fireplace. The fully-equipped kitchen had granite counters and a Sub-Zero refrig - so for many meals, we ate in. The bedroom was large, with a very comfortable king bed. Furnishings were appropriately "western" - and very tasteful throughout. The bathroom held an enormous 2-sink vanity (granite), jetted tub, and beautiful tile shower. There was also an extra 1/2 bath and laundry room with washer and dryer! Four of us stayed in the condo - with 2 on the pull-out sofa. This was the only slight disappointment - since the sofa didn't have the most comfortable mattress. Finally, there was a large deck, with beautiful furniture - that overlooked Jackson Hole. We definitely plan to come back - next time for a full week. Finally, we determined that our unit could be rented in combination with the one next to it - which was very similar to ours, except it had no kitchen. Together, the units would have 2 brs, and hold a total of 8(using the sofas). Other amenities included a pool and hot tub - a bit of a walk for us - but well worth it. This would be a fabulous place to stay - whether for summer winter. It can be a bit confusing though - the overall property is the "Snow King Resort". Within it are Alpine Vista Lodging and Love Ridge condos.
