clean, comfortable roomPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: location, price, clean, comfortable
Cons: pillow top on top of mattress slid around a lot; TV was hard to see since it was the level of the bed--we propped it on top of our ice chest.
Location: right in downtown Jackson--excellent location to nearby restaurants and shops.
The room was very comfortable and clean; bathroom was spacious. Bed was good but not excellent. very convenient location. overall, very nice place and would stay there again.

Great locationPosted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Close to the Square!
Location: Close to all the best shopping, galleries and restaurants and the experience of Jackson itself!
Older hotel with very limited parking but close to all the shopping and restaurants around the square. Rooms are kept very clean but bathroom is quite tiny. Breakfast consists of yogurt, apples, granola bars, coffee and tea. Windows overlook walkway, so not too private if you want drapes open. Overall, not a bad experience.

Gute Lage-trotzdem ruhigPosted Sep 23, 2014

Good Night's Sleep and Easy Walking DistancePosted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was small but comfortable, clean and had all the necessities. The beds afforded a good night's sleep. The Anvil is located in the downtown district a block away from the town square. It is close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We enjoyed out stay.

Adequate for an over night stay. Glad to move on.Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Not a lot. Right on the corner of two streets, one being the Main Street through town. Very pricey for the standard of accommodation.
Surly staff on check-in and check- out. Absolutely no expression of recognition to the guest. Just doing the job, and most unfriendly. Lots of very rough, old wooden dirty steps up to room, but room fine, and nicely fitted out. Balcony to the room at the top of steps overlooking a builders' loading yard.

Nicely located motelPosted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Anvil is easy walking distance from downtown Jackson. A little pricier than we remembered, but not outrageous, especially since their TV lineup includes Turner Classic Movies! We would recommend a room in the back -- for some reason the showers on that side seem better.

Downtown Jackson WYPosted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
This Motel is right on the corner in very busy downtown Jackson so it is very noisy. Unless you are the first one to check in, the only parking options are in the alley or on the street so if you want to see your car, forget it. The room was very moldy smelling and the bed was really old. The breakfast was a muffin & coffee.

Nice hotel very close to town square; convenientPosted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Location, clean, and met our needs. Loved that we could walk to everything.
Location: Shopping and restaurants and anything you need for exploring downtown Jackson Hole within walking distance.
Small hotel right in the middle of everything. Clean & comfortable. Small rooms, but adequate for a stay in Jackson Hole and a good value for the money compared to the other hotels there.

Worth what you payPosted Aug 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Let's be honest. You're not at a resort and why would you be. This is Jackson Hole. If you're in your room for more than a good night sleep then you've wasted at trip. Rooms and location are perfect for your visit. A 3 to 5 minute walk gets you right downtown. This place is a no brainer. I travel the world for work year round and know a good place/price.
