“Best Hide Away to Stay Hotel.”
room 210 was great. Had some noise with with sick if next door used the sick. And A little mouse was in there too. I traped him but i am sure he will be back. The door is wide at the bottom so they can come in from outside. Shower curtain needs to be replaced / smells... I like the place, its a clean Hide Away . Over all. Had a nice place to stay. Love the resturant next door. Third visit. will come again. Thanks.
“Big Disappointment”
Besides being a very small room, the shower fixtures were broken, the toilet permanently soiled, and the door squeeked loudly. The worst problem was the electrical outlets...they would NOT HOLD A PLUG !!! Impossible to charge computers and phones. There was one plug that sort of worked but the light had to be on all night for it to be useable. A con'tl breakfast began at 7:45 which by most standards, inconvenient. That is also when the office opened. We stayed longer than planned so we could lodge our complaints. Later in the day we rec'd a phone call saying they would refund 40.00. All in all, the worst room we have had in 40 years of traveling.
“Very good option”
I stayed there a couple of nights, service was very nice and very polite, the location is very convenient (just a couple of blocks away of the center and it's a very good option for a low budget. All hotels are very expensive in this area an El Rancho is affordable to enjoy a nice city and the National Parks if you only intend to sleep there
“Old and worn out”
Built in 1947 according to the desk clerk, it creaks, smells and is surrounded by old wood. Behind our room was a dump with high grass and bales of straw stacked next to the motel wall. A real fire hazard. We did not accept the room and upgraded to the Anvil, owned by the same operator. The Anvil cost more but was very nice. Do not try to save money by staying at El Rancho.
“Don't want to go back”
The room is just not clean, and facility and beding are so overused.
“El Rancho”
Exceptionally well located and has a great italian restaurant across the parking lot.
“Would definitely go back.”
Not fancy, but comfortable and met our needs. Great location for walking to the town square to shop and go to dinner, I would definitely go back.
“not impressed”
too expensive comparing the condition
“A Clean, Fairly Reasonable Place to Stay; however”
There was nothing wrong with the hotel staff or with the present-ability of room itself. It was clean, well situated downtown, and the cost was very low in contrast to the outrageously expensive 'exclusive' hotels in the area that cater to the Hollywood crowd and idle rich. However, the room(s) have a sink that sits adjacent to the bed, between the bed and the bathroom. When an adjacent guest uses the water in his/her room, it makes loud gurgling sounds in the sink in your room. This happens at all times, and it'll wake you up if you're asleep. Needless to say, it's aggravating. In addition, the doors of the adjacent rooms rock the whole building if the inconsiderate guest next door doesn't take care to avoid it. If you just really need a place to stay a few hours, at a cost most travelers can afford, it's a place to stay overnight. But hope you have a considerate neighbor who doesn't use much water.
“Unimpressed”
Poor accomodations, Not very clean, Beds too soft and bathroom was't large enough or adequately isolated from sleeping areas.
