Another comfortable stay at Elk Country InnPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: All of the above!
Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Very satisfied with my stay.
Location: Close to town square. Bubba's Barbeque located right next door. Can also walk to rodeo groungs during the rodeo season.
I've stayed at this nice little hotel many times. I come back again and again because my room is always clean, spacious and comfortable with a little fridge and microwave, the location is great,- easy walk to town square, and because the staff is always kind and hospitable.

Nice place, Miles was great!Posted Nov 4, 2013
A coworker and I stayed at the Elk Country Inn for about a week on business. We enjoyed our stay and would return. I rated the "Room Comfort" at only "OK" because the thermostat on the heat pump didn't seem to work well and we had to keep turning it down or off to keep it from over heating the room. Also the exhaust fan in the bathroom was too loud. Other than these minor issues we had a great stay and would return despite them. Lastly, Miles at the front desk is stellar.

Nice enough hotel.Posted Sep 29, 2013
Hotel was nice enough. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and offered us a suggestion or dinner. Unfortunately, we did not receive any room cleaning; we were there two nights - so that was dissappointing. But you gotta love Jackson and the hotel was decent.

Near The Grand TetonsPosted Sep 26, 2013
Cons: Nothing in our opinion. We had problems with our air conditioner the first night and it was fixed immediately.
Location: Jackson Hole is a fun place to walk around. Of course, The Grand Tetons are close and also, Yellowstone.
We stayed two nights at the beginning of our trip for The Grand Tetons/Yellowstone. We were so pleased with it that when we left, we made a reservation to spend our last night there before we flew out of the Jackson Hole airport. We would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Bedroom, kitchen with all the necessary items. Just a great place to stay !!.
Location: Jackson Hole.......The Tetons !! We saw black bears, Moose, ELK and other little critters in the National Park. Just 1 hour north is Yellowstone !!
Nice cabins, plenty of room and the people were very friendly. The cabin we had was perfect for our stay.

Close to shopping and restaurant. Clean & nice.Posted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Convenience and nice clean hotel.
Cons: Main street was under construction so that is getting improved. Hotel parking is adequate but could be a little more visible.
Location: Shopping is nearby. Restaurants are nearby. Good location to spend the night or 2 in.
Have stayed here before and found it an excellent stay again. Will stay again in the future.

Overnight in JacksonPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Comfortable room/suite. Unique furnishings, unlike chain hotels.
Cons: Lighting in the living room area is inadequate.
Location: Close to the Town Square area. We did not go into town at night, but there was a lot of activity there as we came into town.
The property is convenient to Jackson's Town Square and we liked our room, so overall a good experience. We had a king suite with kitchen/living area. The only negative was the minimal lighting in the living room area. It was very hard to find a place where we could easily read. I like that the rooms have more variety than a standard hotel chain and the service staff was helpful and friendly. So, I would recommend the Elk Country Inn to others.

Hotel in Downtown Jackson near The Grand TetonsPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Central location in Jackson, WY. Close to everything.
Cons: Better carpet inspection and cleaning...after someone's checked out....
Location: Downtown Jackson, centralized, can walk to any shop or restaurant.
Spent 4 nights there. Overall a very nice hotel. Noticed spots in the carpet next to the trash can and the sink that needed to be taken care of. Advised the staff and they were apologetic and seemed concerned that it was not noticed by the cleaning staff.
