“Very relaxing atmosphere - would most definitely stay again”

My husband and I were there for 7 nights. Our room was very comfortable and cleaned everyday. It would be nice if a hair dryer and iron were provided. The restaurant had the best food - best steak my husband ever had. Ron, Debbie and the retired couple provided good conversation and service - made us feel at home.

Price for the area was good. Location was central to Yellowstone, Tetons & Jackson Hole. Hotel was furnished beautifully.... western & log cabin type furniture.

“Fantastic Resort”

As I said above: A wonderful experience. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The rooms are great as well as neat and clean. They are children and pet friendly. There is a large hot tub area, children's area and grass. The restaurant, Whet Stone, is fantastic. The couple who run it are solicitous and go out of their way to make the meals unforgetable.

Have told all my friends to stay here when they go out to Yellow Stone in WY. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar is nice with all the wood work. They lined up all are activities like hore back riding, river rafting, ect... A great all around place!!!!!!

“Great Place”

I don't know what people were expecting in and near a national park. This is not a spa resort, but a clean comfortable place to stay after doing "outside" activities. The rooms were very clean and in new condition. The staff tried to accomadate reservation request to other activities and had great info on local area. The restaurant was fabulous!! Better then high priced Jackson. Stayed two nights and would stay again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at The Hatchet Resort. The location was very cool. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The room was delightful. The resturant was good and the atmosphere very good. Nice bar. Well manicured grounds. very friendly staff. I would stay there again.
