Amazing location, cabin, facilities and food!! It's certainly the best way to get into the real outdoors style. They also offer a great camp ground, just make sure you have insect repellant as the Mosquitos around the national parks are crazy!

Cute cabins near snake river

Cute cabin. Would pay exta to have cabins in back with a great view. Lodge was nice with a good restaraunt. My kids loved it.

Nice rustic cabin setting

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Internet access in the rooms
Location: Headwaters was only about 45 minutes away from Old Faithful, and we also were able to do the Grand Loop. The best location to stay for park activities.
We enjoyed our stay at Headwaters Cabins at Flagg Ranch, beautiful cabins with microwave, a small refrigerator and clean rooms. The cabin felt like it was in the back woods with a real natural, rustic setting. The sunsets from the back porch rocking chairs overlooking the scenery were awesome. It was also nice to come back to a comfy bed after a long day in Yellowstone. Only about 45 minutes from Old Faithful, and don't forget to do the Grand Loop for the day! We will definitely come back again and book at Headwaters Lodge and Cabins for our next stay. BTW... the Staff was friendly and very helpful on suggestions on what to do while in the park, thank you!

We had a wonderful time at the Flagg Ranch.

Everything was great at this ranch. We did not really eat there so I could not comment on that. The only thing that would have made it better is if the cabins had WiFi and Flat screen Tv's. It is nice to unwind at the end of the day by checking out social media and being able to watch the weather forecast and news.

Excellent Service, Avg. Facility, Historic Local

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: The Staff was Excellent!
Cons: - In front of our cabins was 3 to 4 paths with a big electrical box humming away. This takes away from the appeal.
Location: Near Tetons, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole - Great Location
- The Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. - The facility was short staffed. Had to wait over an hour for a room with many others waiting as well. - Views of the Tetons are limited - Very little things to do for kids. No play ground, pool, etc... - Cabins are very close together. In front of numerous cabins were multiple unsightly paths that distract from the outdoor appeal. Electrical boxes and other utilities detract from the appeal. - The room was very nice and clean, but full of mosquitos. - Loved the history expected more from this historic location. - Difficult to reach the front desk.

Great location!

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: For some, Verizon and internet service.
Location: We spent 3 days in Yellowstone & 2 in Grand Teton exploring, hiking and horseback riding. We enjoyed seeing many animals: bears, elk, moose, antelope.
The hotel was comfortable with a fine restaurant, a useful grocery and a fine gift shop. Our cabin was excellent with a very comfortable kind size bed and a view of the Snake River. The staff at the ranch is superb including those working the front desk, shops and restaurant and the wranglers are the best. We enjoyed horseback riding, fine dining and relaxing. The site was very close to the south entrance of Yellowstone and to the north entrance of Grand Teton National parks. The only drawback my husband noted was the minimal Verizon service in the area; we could not use our phone and there is no internet in the cabins although some people did have service in the lodge. I thought it was fine to be away from email and phones because I think we needed a break from these distractions. I highly recommend the site.

Nice setting close to two National Parks

Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Loved the setting and the clean neatness of the room.
Cons: The cleaning staff were a little sloppy in ensuring all our trash was removed each day and in restocking the coffee tray.
Location: Picked it for its proximity to the two national parks. Lots of nature to partake.
This hotel is cabin style rooms with a great setting on a river. It is in between Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone National Park, two miles outside of the south entrance to Yellowstone. It sits in a valley, so there is no cell reception and internet is limited to a Wi-Fi that is accessable from the mail lodge only. This can be problematic as everyone wants to get on during meal times and the Wi-Fi can go down. Also, there are no TVs in the cabins, only one in the main lodge, so plan your downtime accordingly.
