WOW! Completely Awesome

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Clean! Friendly staff.
Cons: Need more electrical outlets in room - e.g.,at bedside table, etc.
Completely immaculate hotel room. They must have remodeled recently because everything looked brand new. Counter staff was very friendly and the room was very comfy. Best place I've stayed at (in this price range) in a long time - would love to go back.

Another over rated US hotel

Posted Sep 26, 2014
The shower and toilet were located in a room nearly too small to close the door (sorry for not having a picture). The vanity was updated but no other items in this room had been touched for years. Extremely poor lighting in toilet area. Shower head was not adjustable, carpet was stained, and room walls were marked and in need of cleaning and paint.

Good price!

A friend and I got the third floor and needed help with bags. A young man helped with that and was very courteous. We had a suite, two baths, two queens and l.r. and full kitchen. Even a balcony. It was convenient to everything and we would return again. Very good price.

Downtown comfort and friendly atmosphere

Posted Sep 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived at around 8.00 pm for an overnight stay before an early morning flight. At check in, the friendly receptionist gave us recommendations for dinner at local nightspots (walking distance) with live music and atmosphere, and also invited us to the friendly late night hangout at the outside fire pit. We took him up on all his recommendations which made our brief stay very memorable. In the early morning (Sunday) we were able to get to the airport within 15 mins.

Fine for ski/hiking lodge

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Service at front desk -- she was terrific! Didn't catch her name.
Cons: Remodel rooms & baths.
Location: Gun Barrel Restaurant for steak & Bubba's for breakfast.
We only stayed one night. The desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants, encouraged us to check out the infinite pool and fire pit, however, we did not take the time to do so. The bathroom facilities in our room were dated, however, they had everything you would need such as hair dryer, soap/shampoo, small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, if you were on a ski or hiking vacation. Also, the price was in line with the accommodations. A bit noisy on the bottom level, as you could hear the people above walking around. Good thing we were not planning to sleep in. Location is convenient, but several blocks away from Jackson town square.

For the price we paid, we were disappointed.

The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. It was hard to park too.

3 nights at Jackson Hole

Posted Aug 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff was super friendly. I loved the fact that they let us check in early. This hotel is so convenient to everything. We walked to nearby stores and restaurants, rather than driving most of the time. Bubba's bar-b-q is right beside the hotel. Brand new infinity pool and hot tub were great (open until 10:00). Room was clean and odor free. Two nice flat screen tvs. One negative was the parking. It was a little scarce at times. They have 60 rooms, but I counted only 40 parking spots. There is some parking on the street behind the hotel. One night we returned about 10:00 and got the last parking spot. I guess you could park at nearby stores if needed. The outside is rather plain Jane log siding. However the rooms and entry way were quite nice. Nice big flat screen in the lounge area. Plenty of hot water for showers. Only coffee is served in the morning no food. However I thought the hotel was a good value, very centrally located. I would stay there again.
