Beautiful views of the Tetons!
Posted Jan 15, 2013
Pros: The views from the panoramic lobby windows.
Cons: Another sit down restaurant that is not too pricey. The Pioneer Grill, although historic, is a counter top diner with pricey entrees.
Location: You can easily access the other lodges and amenities.
Nice, relaxing stay. Hotel amenities were good and the shops were interesting. The only drawback was that the outdoor pool was closed due to reconstruction. The cottage was fine; bathroom was large but dated. Would consider a return stay to this lodge when in the area.

Great View, Old Hotel
Posted Jan 15, 2013
Pros: View: an unbeatable Grand Teton mountain view which most people might never see before in a hotel. It is like having the Grand Teton inside the hotel.
Cons: Room: not big and not very clean
Location: Location: at the north entrance of Grand Teton, It is good to be a relay point between Grand Teton and Yellowstone

Pleasant Trip
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: breakfast options
Location: good location to Jenny Lake and Jackson Lake
It was generally pleasant, especially the breakfast options are plenty. Very nice lodge room with spacious restroom. The beds are comfortable and the conditioner is very quiet. Will come back next time we visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton.

Nice Hotel but Cottage room smells
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: See above.
Cons: See above.
The hotel has very good restaurant and views. The only thing that I am not satisfied it that the Cottage room that I stayed in smells bad, may be due to mildew. This is the reason that I give it only four stars.

Daily Brunch Buffet was great in Mural dining room. Service was great! Float Lunch Trip on Snake River was very enjoyable and well done. Lodging is old, but clean.

A superb setting
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: Views, wildlife, food.
Cons: Cottage needed more light and better cleaning (linked?)
Location: Superb
Cottage was very dark, and floors not cleaned properly. Beds were comfortable and cottage warm at night. Restaurant was expensive but the food was excellent - worth treating yourself. Veranda at back of hotel (same outlook as restaurant) provided superb viewing opportunities for wildlife. Binoculars made a huge difference. On our stay wolves / coyote, moose, elk, and birds of prey were seen. Bears are also around. Overall a lovely place to stay, with the Tetons providing a superb setting.

Great hotel for a view of the Tetons
Posted Jan 5, 2013
Pros: View
Cons: Dinner menu very limited.
Location: Midway between Jackson and Yellowstone
Restaurant, bar and front desk staff were very friendly. The view from the lodge is amazing. Be sure to ask for a cottage with a view. Its an upgrade, but well worth it. I would not want to stay in a cottage without the view. They are a little depressing looking. Don't waste your money on the breakfast buffet. We went to it twice and the food was only lukewarm. Breakfast off the menu was very good.
