Wonderful hotel

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Loved the main lodge with the Great Room
Cons: Cabins are a bit dated
Location: Fabulous!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The Great Room was a wonderful place to hang out in, with beautiful views all day long. The food was great, particularly in the Mural Room. Grand Teton and Yellowstone were truly amazing parks. We would like to come back again.

Just OK.

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Room was OK, the setting very nice and the main building quite impressive.
Cons: Put the above mentioned bar under new management. The serving staff were pleasant and attentive and did their best with what they had to offer.
Location: Walks in the beautiful surroundings.
The Blue Heron bar was really poor. Watered down and overpriced cocktails and inedible first food order that had to be returned. Replacement dish was a few scraps of cheese, a few sausage remnants and 4 olives on a bed of limp, stale mesclun greens. Would never go back. The Signal Mountain Resort was.much better. Friendlier staff and incomparably better food.

Pros: Nice view from main lobby.
Cons: Customers should be made aware that third party booking does not give them a first class room.
When we arrived expecting a room in the Lodge, we discovered that those booking with Expedia or other 3rd party booking companies could only stay in the cottages.

Unforgettable lobby

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: The location is memorable. The lobby, restaurants, and the service of the personnel were first rate.
Cons: Our room needed repairs and updating.
Location: There are. scenic and rafting boat trips, horseback rides, boat rentals, hiking, and wildlife spotting. You could see elk grazing from the lobby and
The view of the mountains from the lobby are breath taking. The restaurants are excellent. Our cabin room was rustic but had several small problems with fans, locks, and water flow.

Fun at Yellow Stone Park

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Biggest like was the staff. good people! Food, Views and no to far from Yellow Stone Park. very pretty place!
Cons: The cabins we stayed in were a bit out of date. no refridge, microwave, t.v. and the worst part or thing is. NO internet service at all!
Location: The area is VERY beautiful, Biking, Hiking, Boating-Fishing. Or just getting a eye full of Yellow Stone, so much to do! Have fun!
The Jackson Lake Lodge is a very nice place to stay. The staff were VERY helpful and nice. The restaurants served good food. and the views were awesome!

National Park Setting

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: The rooms are located out in front of the main lodge in a linear fashion. Each room opens to the great outdoors...
Cons: The rooms are a little dated. They're nice, but a little updating couldn't hurt. No television in the rooms, which wasn't a problem, just a fact...
Location: Great location inside a national park. The Grand Teton National park and Yellowstone are right there... What more do you want???
The main building is wonderful. Not the most character compared to other lodeges I've visited, but the main sitting area was great. The view is spectacular... It was humorous (or sad) to see everyone looking at their smart phones and laptops (enjoying free WiFi) while the Grand Tetons are just outside the windows... Bar and restaurants were nice, but no free breakfast here. They don't have to do that, because demand is hi...

Jackson Lake Lodge

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Exceptional view, proximity to hiking trails
Cons: Menus could be improved to offer more diversity
Wonderful location. Fantastic view on the Tetons and very close to many hiking trails. The cabins are overpriced, especially for the comfort they offer: no fridge, no microwave and walls are very thin so you hear your neighbors very clearly...

Nice place to stay.

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The overall conditions of the room were good, the beds are comfortable and the sheets looked pretty clean. The Hotel Staff was very friendly.
Cons: A small refrigerator would be deliverable in the rooms, and in the lobby a TV stand also, as long as you do not have it in the rooms.
Location: We would strongly recommend this Hotel, especially for the excellent position. The view of the Tetons from the Lobby is Breathtaking
We stayed at the cottages during the week of Labor Day weekend. It was a nice experience and we really enjoyed our vacation.
