Guest Focused HotelPosted Mar 15, 2014
Location: The hotel is located about two blocks from downtown and a block from nearest bus stop. It is very easy to walk around town.
This hotel has had a lot of good reviews from many sources and they are right. The hotel is a small 32 room building with a separate spa. My likes of this place started with a phone call a couple of weeks prior to my visit asking if I needed help setting anything up during my stay. During my stay, the front desk took care of everything. They got me in a great snowmobile tour, dinner reservations, spa reservations, and even ski recommendations. Some added perks was daily cookies and hot cider and nightly treats in your room. Also, they provide a cute stuffed bear (which we named Jackson) along with a nightly poem. It was always fun to see where Jackson was when we walked in our room each evening.

Perfect spot for relaxing time in JacksonPosted Feb 10, 2014
The Rusty Parrot was base camp for my kids and I when we were in Jackson recently for a ski trip. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They have a shuttle several times a day to and from the mountain. There is a great sitting area with coffee and tea in the afternoon and evening. The staff was also helpful in suggesting restaurants nearby. I would not hesitate for a minute in booking here again.

We loved the Rusty Parrot Lodge and SpaPosted Jan 4, 2014
Everything about staying here was terrific. The checkin was seamless and everything was in order. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. The room was beautiful and the bed had amazing bedding. The bathroom had wonderful products and a beautiful tub. There was a amazing restaurant Wild Sage in the lodge that served us a truly memorable dinner and then both mornings we had breakfast there and it was equally delicious. All the little details have been thought through here. The decor is really well done, subtle, an upscale lodge that is warm and inviting. Walk to town. We even had massages at the Spa which rivals any spa I've been to around the world. Just wonderful. We really appreciated the details and the care of the Rusty Parrot. We can't wait to go back this coming summer for a long weekend.

Conveniently close to the central square,Posted Oct 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel has a very cozy ambience and all of the staff were very pleasant. Breakfast on Sunday was really slow (they had only one person waiting on the tables). I am not sure the hotel is worth the money although we enjoyed the free tea and coffee set out all day long and the fresh cookies in the afternoon.

Small, comfortable, friendly, high-quality hotelPosted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: All staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: No garden, though the outside deck was very comfortable
Location: Corner of a block right on the edge of town in quiet area (hotels and residential), facing a small quiet park
We visited Jackson Hole for a family vacation from UK. We have two teenage sons, and shared a double queen room, which was ample in size. Rusty Parrot Lodge is a quiet, comfortable, friendly and excellently-run hotel on the outskirts of Jackson. The staff have fantastic attention to detail, and it seemed that no request was too much trouble. The neighbourhood is quiet - part residential, and several other hotels in the same street, facing onto a small quiet park (where a very interesting art show was held during part of our stay). Restaurants and shops in the centre of Jackson are an easy walk of only a few blocks. We had a fantastic stay, visting Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, and enjoying whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking, cycling, watching wildlife etc etc.

Safe bet for a comfortable stayPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Room cleanliness and comfort. L'Occitane toiletries. Location.
Cons: Establish and maintain better service standards for your guest-facing staff. I was shocked at how bad that one guy was.
Location: Walk 2 blocks to city center.
It's a nice hotel with a small lobby and an intimate feel. The room was spotless and it had l'Occitane toiletries. My only disappointment was inconsistent service from the personnel. Front desk, housekeeping and bellmen were warm and friendly. There was a particularly sullen, cold bar/restaurant server who could not have conveyed a worse attitude toward me. He also performed poorly, leaving me high and dry waiting for my bill until I had to go track him down and settle up in the lobby. My poor experience with this guy is what remains top of mind about my experience, unfortunately, because it is otherwise a comfortable place to stay. Summer demand for rooms is high in Jackson, giving this hotel a wide wake to mask it's service flaws at this price point.
