This place has great food, beautiful views, appealPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: I loved the food here and the beautiful views
Cons: It is perfect for an active vacation
Location: Getting there was easy to follow but not being used to mountains, it was a little scary. It is a little remote for my taste
It was a little warm during day to not have air conditioning, but was very tolerable. This is a wonderful place for the younger vacationers. Not having an elevator makes it harder for older folks.

Nice Out of the way placePosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Sioux Lodge is a very nice place to stay. It would be wonderful in the winter with the ski slopes. There is a lot of biking and hiking trails around the area

One of 5-6 we stayed on our week long vacationPosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: The views, and how close all the amenities were.
Cons: More air flow in the room, kind of stuffy
Location: Hiking, biking, horse back riding, skiing and views the Grand Tetons
We had a good time at the lodge. Rode the lift to the top of the mountain which was great with the views all around at 10,000 ft. Went horse back riding which is part of the resort. Guide kind of just walked the horses up a mountain trail and down another one back to the stable. would have liked to gallop a little.

The Sioux lodge room was comfortable, and will accommodate a large party for skiing.

Pretty scenery - too far from JacksonPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were disappointed at how far the drive actually was from Jackson. The first night was uncomfortably hot and we didn't realize until the next day that there was a fan in the closet. That was a fun fact that we would have appreciated being told at check-in. When we travel we live out of our suitcases and don't unpack each night into the closet.

Ski Lodge & VillagePosted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
What you would expect for a ski lodge hotel. Rooms where comfortable and clean. Ski Village was nice. However if it gets hot there is no AC and there are no elevators in this hotel. Hauled our luggage up to the 4th floor by stairs. Great place to get out and hike the ski trails. They offer a ski lift to the top for a fee and you can hike down. The only ice machine is in the other lodge a short walk away.

scenery is excellent, location is remotePosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
scenery is excellent, location is too remote. When we came to hotel at 9 pm, did not having a dinner, the dinning room was closed, and there is no food store,no cafeteria,no snack on sell nereby. The nearest place we can buy something is located in hillfoot, where at least 30 minites drive to arrive from hotel.

Skip the dinner, over priced and small portions out of certain meals, and who the heck doesn't have steak sauce? If you serve steak have steak sauce available. Service was good and very attentive just the food was so-so for the price. When we booked it didnt make any mention there was no air condition. Shower curtain had mold growing on the bottom corner but overall room was clean and comfortable, other then the heat.
