Just one night

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The location was breathtaking and everything was so clean.
Cons: Have free coffee for guests; not just coffee in the room. My husband went down to get a cup of coffee and he was outraged at the cost.
Location: We took the shuttle downtown and enjoyed the sights in Jackson. Had a nice meal downtown also.
This was a delightful place to stay! We were only there one night as we were on our way into Yellowstone and did not have much time.

Beautiful hotel in great location!

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Staff, location, setting, exposed brick wall
Location: See the following if you're a tourist like us: Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, Antler Arches, Moo's Ice Cream, Cowboy Coffee
The Snow King is set beautifully in the mountains and only a few blocks from downtown Jackson. My wife and I came for our second wedding anniversary. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was very comfortable and we liked that one of the walls in our room had an exposed brick look. After taxes and fees however we paid over $400 and just felt that as nice as our stay was, we didn't get our money's worth. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if it's a special occasion, but for the cost we were expecting more.

Not worth the cost

Posted Aug 16, 2014
This hotel was pretty nice but was not worth how much we paid for each night. The room was clean but average size. The whole place had a rugged look which I believe was intentional based on the town it is in. The air conditioning unit has effective but very loud.

Relaxing day.

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Ideal location, comfortable hotel.
Location: It's got it all. Mountains and the town of Jackson in walking distance. Farmers market and live music just down the street. Horse trips, alpine slide,
Enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine poolside and let the rest of the world be tourists in my home state , it was a great birthday with my daughter.

Pros: Modern-rustic and nicely decorated. Lovely pool. Comfy bed.
Cons: Not have to walk up a floor to get a drink/food from pool. Longer pool/hot tub hours & turn off/change pool-side music. Fridge in room. food options
Location: Close to Jackson downtown but not in noise. Need a car or use shuttle.
This really was a very nice hotel. A few things, however: no fridge in the room; we could not open the window but a few inches and it was quite stuffy in there. It's a shame being in the mountains and not being able to have fresh air!! When we did open the window, a bee came in two different times. Also, the only restaurant on the premises was very expensive. With no fridge in the room and not being downtown, it would be nice to have options. The pool was very nice, hot tub was nice but no "jet" power. There was God-awful music playing at the pool all day and I can't understand why the hours for the pool and hot tub were only 10-10. Lovely fires beside the pool but they shut them off at 10.

Upgrade got us a whole condo

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Bed was great. Bath was better.
Cons: Access was a little hard dragging luggage up into the condo but If I was staying longer. It would not be a big deal.
Location: Jackson Hole need I say more.
It was a late booking and even later check in. We were up graded to a condo in another building.

Over priced A frame lodge

Sliding door to small deck did it close all the way, had to lock door with chain lock. Screen door stuck. Dated decor , cramped bathroom. TV Remote did not have a sleep button. Mediocre food in restaurant .
