Great locationPosted Jul 25, 2015
Cons: Some of the rooms had benches in front of them. Ours did not and that would have been nice.
Location: Shopping, dining, rafting, hiking, Teton Park.
Located walking distance to dining, shopping, anything in Jackson. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean.

Cons: The breakfast could be more filling and include bacon and sausage. Pancakes and waffles would be a great addition.
It was nice to be centrally located. Check in and check out were simple.

Nice motel, doesn't worth the nightly ratePosted Jul 21, 2015
The staff is great, however this is a very basic motel that doesn't worth the rate we paid for

Pet Friendly...People Not.Posted Jul 19, 2015
Jackson area has some limited choices for pet friendly accommodations. The Painted Buffalo was the only hotel with vacancy during our vacation. The property is in dire need of renovation. Security is a major concern. Local seem to randomly roam the property on the way to the mission in the next block. Rooms are small with limited lighting and outdated fixtures.

Walk to townPosted Jul 19, 2015
The only good thing I can say about this is the super convenient location to Town Square. The hotel staff is friendly and can help with suggestions on dining and activities. The breakfast is sparse- only cereal, boiled eggs, toast and coffee. Our room was over $200 a night b/c it was high season summer but it was no where near a $200 quality room. More like a $40 room. Think "Motel 6". Bathroom was dark and towels were pitifully thin. Plus the bedcovers were major old. The whole place needs a major renovation. But- there are not many affordable options in JH and I noticed most of the other hotels were of this caliber. If none of this bothers you, then you can't beat the location.

Close to YellowstonePosted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: Staff could be a little more friendly.
Location: Lots of high priced shopping stores. The Teton mountain range is the best.
Typical Jackson Hole high motel rates. No eating facilities at this location. The continental breakfast was a block away and was highly disappointing. Could have stopped at a gas station and had more variety.

gOOD BUT ...Posted Jul 13, 2015
Everything was fine except the electric outlets were poorly placed for additional plugins. The bathroom fan was not working (bad!) The stafft needed to be pushed to respond to help request. But, overall things were fine except for the continental breakfast that did not start early enough for those (10 of us) HAVING TO CATCH AND EALY FLIGHT.

OK for one overnight stay.Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Good location for walking round Jackson Hole town and for food options. Good indoor pool for the kids and free wifi.
Cons: Accommodation a bit dated and worn. Outside walkways need cleaning.
Location: Jackson Hole town, Grand Tetons, Dairy Queen!
So, bearing in mind that everything in Jackson Hole is expensive, the Painted Buffalo Inn was ok but nothing special. Indoor pool and free wifi was a bonus. There is just about enough parking but it can get very busy. Rooms were serviceable but the outside walkways and communal areas were dirty, with rubbish in areas. breakfast was a selection of cold options - toast, cereal, muffins, coffee, juice - and that was it. OK for one overnight stay with kids. Good location to walk round Jackson Hole and for evening food options.

Very comfy stay with a petPosted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: Better outdoor seating.
Location: Great Mexican food across the street. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.
They were great, the room was perfect for us and they gave our pooch a welcome gift! How cool is that.

Return to Jackson HolePosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Out door seating to take advantage of the view of the mountains.
Location: Our main interest was to take a float trip on the snake and there were several companies near by with excellent reviews.
Checked in early. Our two rooms were ready, but the promised WiFi was not functioning. It took about 4 hours, but a tech person arrived and reset all the routers. Hotel is not fancy, very practical and reasonable. The breakfast in the morning was continental which was fine. Location is perfect and walkable to city center.
