Decent room and poolPosted Mar 2, 2014
The only real complaint is the breakfast was terrible and there was no one keeping it stocked. I had to ask the front desk to help.

Decent hotel, decent price in an overpriced areaPosted Feb 14, 2014
Only one night, but it was a nice room. No qualms about staying there again.

Great skiers hotel - not for a romantic holiday!Posted Feb 9, 2014
Cons: Add a hot tub
Location: 10 minutes walk to town square, great location for everything
This was my third stay at the Painted Buffalo, my eighth visit to Jackson Hole in the last 10 years. This Motel is excellent if you want to be a ski bum for your trip, excellent location, ski bus stop adjacent to hotel, good local bars and food. Rooms are reasonable size, two queen beds, bathroom, fridge and microwave. Clean and tidy, can be noisy with visiting school ski race teams - but excellent, cheap place to crash after experiencing a long day on the JH Slopes. Specify an upper floor room if you can as the lower rooms can be noisy. Continental breakfast a bit spartan, but it's included and the coffee is good to take on the 20 minute ride to the slopes. Reasonable indoor swimming pool. Suggest this is for skiers looking for a place to crash, probably would not take my wife for a holiday here, shared the last two years with my son - fantastic.

Convenient and good price hotel in Jackson centrePosted Feb 5, 2014
Pros: The location, value for the price, the pleasant staff and the fun stuffed toys
Cons: Breakfast was very limited with relatively watery coffee
Location: Dining, shopping, pubs, town activities as well as Snow King mountain are on your doorstep and Jackson Hole is only 12 miles away with a shuttle
We found the stuffed toy buffalo on the beds to be adorable and the location excellent. Being a short walk from the Jackson town square, we were able to take in the full range of restaurants as well as the official ceremonies and start of the international dog sled races. We found the 12 miles of flat road drive to Jackson Hole ski resort to be very easy. We recommend to anyone skiing Jackson Hole to stay in town instead of Teton village which has very little off hill activity and few places to dine and drink compared to a full selection in Jackson where everything is easy walking from the Painted Buffalo

Stayed One NightPosted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: The shower head in our unit was super, it provided a full and powerful spray perfect for soaping and rinsing.
Cons: Continental breakfast was weak but still acceptable.
Location: Super location within walking distance to many shops and restaurants in downtown Jackson.
Staff was very helpful and courteous, room was clean, and the bed surprisingly comfortable.

Location: Jackson was nice, parks were closed . we drove to Dubois and it was winter wonderland. 2 1/2 feet of snow!! Beautiful
It was a nice hotel, the only problem was very load with people walking up stairs. Great location, and very good breakfast. employee very nice as well. Construction around the place a bit inconvenient but that was uncontrollable.
