Location: It was a great place to begin our Yellowstone adventure.
We loved the Rustic Inn. Our room was nice and clean the grounds were very well kept and breakfast had a wide variety of food. We do believe they need to hire more staff in the Bistro as when we ate there they only had one person behind the bar and one waiting on the tables. This caused delays and some customers were even turned away. Although this was the case they staff did there best and it was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful cabins!Posted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: I loved the beautiful cabins and the lovely landscaping features surrounding the facility.
Location: The Visitor Center is located directly across the street so it's wonderful for travelers to the area. We also visited the National Wildlife Art Museum
We stayed at The Rustic Inn Creekside Resort for a night upon arriving in Jackson Hole for a planned trip to Yellowstone. The cabins were beautiful, comfortable and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast before departing to our destination. We stayed here again for a night prior to leaving Jackson Hole and enjoyed the facilities once again. We were so happy we chose this resort as it is just perfect! The resort is conveniently located near the airport and across the street from the Visitor Center so it's perfect for a trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

the hotel was good and in general the staff okPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: The buffet breakfast was great. the location was perfect. the outside space was pretty with the fire pits.
Cons: Provide proper cups at breakfast, not paper cups! Teach their room cleaners English. the manager's brisk, impersonal attitude left a lot to be desired
Location: location great, everything available from local shops.
having requested the 'free' airport shuttle and after 24 hours of travel, we were very disappointed to find no shuttle to meet us. we waited over 45 mins for the shuttle. the following day we needed to get to the airport to pick up our car rental and were told that we must either arrive or depart on a plane to use the 'free' shuttle. Bear in mind that we drove back to the hotel 5 days later and didn't need the shuttle either to leave the hotel or return to it, therefore saving the hotel 2 airport trips. We had booked a more expensive 'creekside' cabin for the return stay to the Rustic Inn but preferred the 'superior' cabin which was newer and cheaper. We agreed to stay in the cheaper room, therefore losing out on the the difference. We were not offered a free shuttle to return our car to the aiport, which considering their savings on the room and the two previous non use of their shuttle, we found unreasonable and downright greedy. we paid a taxi $42 to take us to the airport to return the rental car. We could not understand why, we were not offered their 'free' shuttle. our flight back to the UK required us to be at the airport for 06:10am. we asked the hotel if the shuttle would take us but were told that the shuttle only operates from 07:00am. The front desk said they would book us shuttle to take us. We asked if this lift to the airport was 'complimentary' and was told it was 'gratuituity based'. The taxi driver charged $42! not 'gratuity based at all.

CENTRALLY LOCATEDPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: See above
Cons: We had zero complaints.
Location: See above
The Inn picked us up and took us to the airport with no delay. The surrounding grounds were a photographer's delight. All our tours picked us up right at the Inn. Our rafting company and our biking company were both a mere 100 yards away. The walk to town was pleasant and less than a mile. The Inn itself, the service, and the location couldn't have been better.

We had some issuesPosted Sep 16, 2013
Cons: The service is really lacking. The follow through on requests is slow and dismissive.
Location: There is no shortage of things close by, you are on the edge of Grand Teton National Park. Try to visit the wildlife art museum.
The grounds are quite beautiful, but you only get the advantage of that if you stay in one of the pricier freestanding cabins. If you stay in a lodge room like we did, you face the parking lot. The room was quite hot at night. The windows were sealed shut and could not be opened without the help of maintenance, which came and did it after a long (8 hour) delay. When we ran the A.C. at night, it was very loud when it cycled on and off. When we first arrived, our card key did not work. After several attempts, the front desk sent for maintenance and the entire locking device and door handle had to be removed, taken away, and reprogrammed. We could not unpack during this time, and waited in some canvas chairs outside our room. After a long flight, the offer of an iced tea or diet Coke would have gone a long way, but that did not happen. I think they could learn a lot about service. I did not want to post any of this, so I emailed them and asked them to email back for a non-public review. I got no response. On the plus side, the room is very nicely done with a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast dining area is quite nice and efficient. The hotel is walking distance to Jackson shops and restaurants.

Great hotel, would stay again. The bed was the most comfortable I've been in at a hotel. We were in the front that reviews complained about the traffic noise. There was some traffic, but could barely hear it. Breakfast was wonderful. Free parking and shuttle to town, just great.

Nice hotel, awful staffPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Nice, upper end room
Cons: Friendliness and competency of hotel staff.
Location: The hotel is on the main drag. It can be quite noisy in the front section. Town isn't much, but national parks are nearby.
My husband and I arrived around 2pm to check in, even though check in is offically at 4pm. We were informed that our room was not ready, which was okay, but we were paying for the high end room. There must have been 8 more guests that came in after us, all who immediately went to their rooms. After sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes, the front desk came over and said it would be quite a while before our room was ready and why didn't we go do something? They wanted us to leave our bags outside in the porte cochere (it was raining), including my shoulder bag and my husband's fly fishing rod. We asked that they lock up our belongings. One would have thought that we asked for the moon! The front desk staff was RUDE about it. We asked them to call us when our room was ready. After 5 pm we made our way back to the hotel, where a new front desk person said our room had been ready for HOURS! When queried about why we didn't receive a call, we were told she didn't know or care...
