Great Teton Getaway

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Great breakfast. Relaxing hot tub.
Cons: Bathroom facilities are a little cramped. Quaint pine bed is beautiful and comfy, but parts stick out and and can hurt your knees in the dark (ouch!)
Location: Summer concerts at Teton Village; biking down the mountain; hiking in the Grand Tetons and rafting on the Snake River.
Quaint B & B situated perfectly for a summertime visit to the Grand Tetons. Much more affordable than resorts, and much more convenient as well. Two miles from Teton Village and eight miles from Moose. Teton National Park hiking trails less than five miles away. A hearty home-cooked breakfast served at 8:00 every morning was a great way to start the day. Nice hot tub and deck with great view of the mountains and night sky provided a nice way to unwind. A couple of nice restaurants (Calico's and Q Roadhouse and Brewery) with full service bars are located within a half mile or so. Gracious hosts provided great service, without being overbearing.

Incredible Beautiful Homey Love

Posted Jul 5, 2015
We had so much fun staying at the Sassy Moose. The owner Nataylia, was so gracious with tons of hospitality and genuine warmth and lots of stories to share of their life in Wyoming and lots of experiences in hiking, biking, dining, wildlife etc that are helpful for one to make decisions. The main house is wonderfully decorated in western decor with many things Moose :) We loved our room which is very spacious and our own private bathroom and fireplace. They have free bikes to borrow during your stay along with a wonderful Hottub. The breakfast is at 8am daily and is WONDERFUL - different egg casseroles, thick bacon, big sausage, hashbrowns, fresh breakfast rolls or cornbread and fresh fruit daily along with fresh orange juice and coffee. Very good! And the B&B is tucked away in the trees with a beautiful view of the Tetons - incredible! We will be coming back next year and staying longer - can't wait!! :))

Sassy Moose stay

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: We appreciated the setting, the nearby restaurants and easy access to the Park. The owner was friendly and quite knowledgeable about the area.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It is close to the bike path and a few restaurants. It's an easy drive into Jackson or to the Grand Teton National Park.
This is a comfortable bed and breakfast that offers great food and comfortable rooms.

Pros: Breakfasts were excellent which was great start to the day.
Cons: The two armchairs could have been higher. They were not easy to get out of.
Location: Great place to view wildlife and early 1800 churches and pioneer cabin.
Excellent time of year in June to spend outdoors sightseeing and hiking,.

Fun at the Sassy Moose

Posted May 12, 2015
Had an enjoyable stay at the Sassy Moose in May. The bed was comfortable in a nicely decorated Cowboy Room. Natalya and staff provided a very tasty and generous full breakfast, which sustained us for shopping in nearby Jackson, and driving the back roads to see lots of wildlife. The place is very welcoming, cozy and quiet, in a great location. We would definitely recommend it !

Home away from home experience

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The feel of the hotel the best, very cozy/western. The wood-burning fire place, out door hot tub, free roaming space to do as you please was great.
Cons: The outdoor maintenance needed to be picked up a tad; however, the snow just melted a week prior to our stay.
Location: Faves: Gros Ventre (Red Hills), snake river overlook, hike to Lake Taggert & Bradley, sunrise over Elk Refuge, Hot springs, Snake River Brewery
I traveled from MN to Jackson Hole for the first time and had no idea what to expect. The stay at the Sassy Moose was absolutely wonderful. I felt comfortable lounging around and making myself at home. Natalia was a spectacular host--made the BEST breakfast every morning--and gave us exceptional tips on where to go and what to see in town.
