“Cabin was delightful! Very clean!”

Our cabin was extremely clean, roomy, and comfortable! Office staff was extremely courteous and went out of their way to help. The only negative was the ongoing road construction in front of the cabins-getting up and down the pass for 5 days was an ordeal due to the long wait times! We had wanted accomodations a little closer to the TETON NATIONAL PARK when we booked, and had no idea that Togwotee was at least 8 miles outside the park on top of a steep mountain pass. Otherwise everything else was perfect--we would definitely stay there again!

Area recommendations
Jackson, Wyoming was a cute town! Touristy in some ways, but great shops! Also had great meals at Signal Mountain Lodge in the Teton National Park!

“Superb cabins close to Grand Tetons”

I only stayed one night on my way to Yellowstone. The cabin was fantastic, way beyond expectations. Tv in living room and bedroom, high-speed internet, comfortable beds with luxury pillows and linen, all the conveniences you could need for a cabin stay, even Starbucks coffee! The cabins are spotless and completely soundproof, nestled in the woods. They were a little hard to find given the massive road rebuilding project going on for Togwotee Pass, but that should be done in a few months. Only about 15 miles from the teton Park entrance and much cheaper than lower quality accomodations in the park. I would stay here again in a flash.

Getting there
If you are coming from the east on I-80, the route from Rawlins to Lander to the park via US 287 is beautiful and empty, I did 80 most of the way on the 2-lane highways and only saw 1 cop. From somewhere around Dubios you are following the Wind River, with beautiful Utah-like red sandstone hills on the north of the valley. As you descend the western side of Togwotee Pass you have a great view of the approaching Tetons. As of 10/2011 Togwotee Pass is undergoing a massive reconstruction, with slow speed limits and delays for about 30 miles, so you may want to check on progress of the construction before taking this route.

“A little far from the Tetons but a very good stay!!”

We stayed at the cabins during our yellowstone/teton trip and found it very comfortable, clean, well maintained facility. Only issue is its a little far from the tetons, and for that matter yellowstones and there is road work going on in between so around 45 minutes to an hour drive to Jackson Lake Loj/Teton entry. Apart from the distance factor its a very good facility, with a full kichennete, flat screen in living room, and another tv in the bedroom, neat bathrooms. starbucks coffee for the coffee maker and staff is helpfull.

“Lovely Room in the Mountains”

A great summer place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The in-room coffee maker, brewed the best coffee of any hotel we stayed on this trip. It had an easy to access complimentary internet, which was wonderful as there is no cell service (yet). In winter they offer snowmobiling. The staff is friendly and helpful.

“PASS”

Not Handicap friendly. Too many stairs or steps. Parking lot not paved, subject to muddy conditions. No complimentary breakfast. Gas station and store have limited hours so leaving early or returning late from the Park leaves you unable to use these facilities. Contacting the hotel by phone really ridiculous. Go into voice mail in a continuous loop at times. Highway construction of over seven miles right outside hotel on the way to the Tetons National Park, many long waits going and coming from the Park.

“Looking forward to next summer there!”

From the very beginning of our stay, we were welcomed by a FANTASTIC staff! They recommended a horse ride for both my husband and myself. We had a great time! Carl, the wrangler, was friendly, knowledgable, and funny :). Our room was clean and comfortable, and had all the ammenities we expected. The scenery of the surrounding mountains was so inviting that we took a drive up one of the forest service trails (just down the street). We saw a Grizzly with her two cubs (15 yards from our car), moose, two bald eagles, and deer! We loved it so much we stayed an extra night! We recommend this place to everyone!

Area recommendations
All the National Parks are close! There is construction in the area, but it goes pretty quick.

“Wonderful Stay”

Togwotee Mountain Lodge was a complete surprise when we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable and much more upscale than what we were expecting for a cabin. My only tiny issue, is the time it takes to get to the park from the lodge can be bit tiresome if you are staying for several days, but I think the road construction had a lot to do with that as well. Once the construction is completed, the drive would take 10-15 mints less. Right now it takes about 30 minutes to the Teton entrance. I would go back though in a second!
