Great hotel in comfortable lodge setting.Posted Aug 28, 2014
The hotel was very nice. Close enough to Grand Teton and Yellowstone if you want to stay near the south entrance. The beds were so comfortable, the room was very clean- and there is laundry and Gas right on sight. The only qualm was the restaurant in the hotel closed at 9, and the food wasnt what I expected for Wyoming. The staff was all very nice, we would come back again if we were in the area. We loved the lodge feel- very warm and cozy. Not many food options available in the area.

Staying at TogwoteePosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Nothing; everything was great.
Location: Great for hiking, riding, relaxing. About an hour to Jackson Hole - very pretty area. Nice shops, restaurants. Grand Tetons are beautiful!
Nice atmosphere. Comfortable room. One dining room; food was good. Bar that served the same food as the restaurant; open an hour later than the restaurant. There were also cabins for those of you who want more space. Pretty secluded. Very friendly staff. Horse stables on site. Horses were well cared for. Enjoyed a great ride with a terrific trail leader named Dave. Braden & Justin came along & were a nice addition - they knew a lot about the area. There was a summer special going on while we were there - pay for two nights & get the third free. We booked through Expedia & were not aware of this special so we paid for all 3 nights. Our suggestion is that you call the hotel directly to see if there are any specials before booking. But we enjoyed our stay even without the savings.

Nice, quiet mountain cabin.Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Remote, quiet, very nice and helpful staff.
Cons: The carpet in our cabin needs to be replaced. It appeared to have come apart at the seam. That was the only negative on the cabin.
Location: We drove to Jackson Hole, Wy., the Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park.
We enjoyed our stay at Togwotee. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet and relaxing. GPS does not have an accurate location for Togwotee Mtn. Lodge. It was located almost 6 miles further than our GPS indicated. During our stay, we drove to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton Nat. Park and Yellowstone.

Great retreat in the middle of WY.Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Staff was super friendly and well maintained
Cons: More seating areas outside - like a fire pit or big porch chairs would have been nice.
Location: Hiking, biking, exploring. The horse ranch on site was a great trail ride in to mountain area - saw moose and deer (and signs of a grizzly).
The cabin was very nice and welcoming. We spent time in the main lodge for dining, cold beer and blazing fire place. It is a great spot to relax and get away from the busy world.

Cute little cabins in a beautiful setting.Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The beauty of the surroundings. The staff was great.
Cons: The cabins were starting to show some wear, but everything was still in working order and it was clean and comfortable.
Location: It was centrally located between Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton National Park/Yellowstone. Lots to see and do!
Every member of the staff at Togwotee Lodge was amazing. They were all very helpful and pleasant. We called the front desk for assistance in everything to scheduling white water rafting trips and horse back riding. They were very helpful and courteous.

Nice surprise!Posted Aug 17, 2014
Recently I was in Dubois and Jackson, on business, and this property was conveniently situated between the two towns, so I booked a room and crossed my fingers. What a lovely surprise! Initially, I was a bit concerned because the gentleman at the front desk was REPEATEDLY telling the party checking in ahead of me that "this is bear country" and to make sure and spray your bear repellent at the bear and not at yourself because it would be very painful. Huh? This was 10:00 at night and there were nine tired families standing in line behind me, all patiently waiting to check in. After giving him my name, he starting saying, "oh, great!" and "well, this isn't going to work" and "I can't believe what a mess this is" — I asked him if there was a problem with my EXPEDIA reservation and he just said, "I'll figure it out." Hmmmm. The good news? Once I finally had room keys and directions to my cabin, I was shocked when I opened the door! What an amazingly delightful place to spend the night! Cute, clean, and comfortable doesn't begin to describe it. I loved this little place! And the bed was heaven… just the right mix of comfy linens and pillows. I would stay here, again, without a moment's hesitation. And I would pray fervently that someone else would be responsible for manning the front desk...

Get away from everyone!Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Everything we needed was right there: gas, groceries, gift shop, restaurant
Location: Mountains, glaciers, Jackson Hole, tram to top of the mountain, scenery
We were able to spend three nights in a cabin at Togwotee Lodge. It was wonderful to have our own cabin and not experience the usual noise of a hotel room. It was really like a "home away from home!" TV in the kitchen/dining/living area, and TV in the bedroom. Everything we needed to make our own meals when we wanted, friendly staff, atmosphere--all combined to make this an excellent place to stay.

Pros: Two hot tubs available
Cons: Get appropriate sized pot and pans.
Location: 10-15 minutes to Moran Junction, east of Grand Tetons National Park. Saw moose about 3.4 miles on hwy, 3.4 miles east of the hotel.
Good clean cabins. Comfortable beds. Very small and shallow sink. They provide one pot and one pan, of which only one can be used on the two burner stove at a time (very small burners with really large pot and pan). Has toaster and microwave. Small refrigerator worked well, no freezer compartment.

Comfortable cabinPosted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: comfortable beds, close to the Tetons.
Cons: The cabin needed aired out better, heavy smell of pesticide.
Comfortable, nicely appointed cabin, pretty much what we expected from the online pictures and descriptions. Not much privacy on porch as the cabins are pretty close together. Close to the Tetons and Yellowstone.
