Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. Great location. I was also glad to see that the hotel was eco-friendly with the card in the room outlining details to conserve water... I followed the rules to use the same sheets and towels our second night, but found that I at least had new towels. I'm not complaining that they cleaned the room, from a customer standpoint, but I hope they really are trying to help conserve water, from an environmental standpoint.

This is the place to stay if you are visiting Millsaps College. Walking distance to campus. Free full breakfast and happy hour.

Great local hotel

This was a great local hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, complementary happy hour (with draft beer) and breakfast, and a comfortable stay. I try to stay at local hotels over the chains when I can, and this place was a treat. And it's walkable to the UMS Hospital

Good but not Great

I think this place was good. the staff was nice and friendly. The location for the event is perfect! I would go on to say that this hotel should be renovated within the next 2-3 years. This would help with raise the bar for the businesses surrounding the hotel. Its in an excellent location so spend a little money.

Near Babtist Hospital

I needed a home away from home in close proximity to Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. The Cabot Lodge was an excellent place to stay. I loved the breakfasts and the expansive lounge areas with several televisions, tables, and couches.

I feel like I stepped into 1970

I stepped onto the elevator and smelled mold. Carpet was stained and hallways were muggy. Beds were creaky and bathrooms were so small that you had to slide by the toilet to shut the door. Yucky green paint on walls that was peeling. Checked out immediately.
