nice hotel, close to shopping and restaurants.Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: I liked the layout of the hotel, the dining area, enclosed pool and work out areas were very convenient.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: I love shopping and all the nice restaurants.
Business brought my husband to the area. We are very pleased with our overall stay.

Very nice hotel but the location isn't wonderful.Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly; the bed was great; the bathroom was spotless. The Starbucks breakfast was fantastic.
Cons: The hallway carpet could be replaced. Maybe look at the ceiling in our room.
Location: The location of this hotel is "just ok". Madison might be safer. Also, the intersection at County Line Rd to get to the hotel is a nightmare at times.
This hotel is a very nice hotel located in Ridgeland- a part of Jackson, MS that used to be a little nicer than it is now. Saying that, I never felt scared, but I wasn't perfectly at ease either. The actual hotel was great. The bed was a classic Marriott bed- very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very clean! The ceiling has some evidence of peeling like someone flooded above us, but it didn't bother my husband. The hallway carpet was worn and probably needs to be replaced. The hotel staff was very friendly. Upon check-in, the clerk did have our reservation but no other information. We had to giver her our address and phone number again. She didn't have recorded that our reservation included a "Stay for Breakfast" and I am not sure if we got charged yet or not. There is not free coffee downstairs, since there is a Starbucks onsite for breakfast. With the Breakfast included, we were able to choose from the Starbucks menu for our breakfast meal, and I must say, it was really good food. The two people working Starbucks were really nice.

Southern ComfortPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The location, the size of the room, the comfort of the beds and, the pool.
Cons: Bath mats should be placed inthe tubs due to the slippery conditions I experinced while showering.
Location: The Location was excellent. Easy to find, near the mall and restaurants.
My expereince at the Courtyard in Jackson was pleasant overall. The staff was friendly and healpful. The beds were oh so comfortable. The pool was great. however, I would recommend that the hotel invest in bath mats, because I had quite a slippery experince during my shower, which I reported to the front desk staff.

Ok hotel shame about the breakfastPosted Jun 8, 2014
Hotel was ok.Had a room by the pool and had beer swilin boys out there until after dark.Brakfast had to be served to you by an over worked lady ,much better if it was self service ,no juice and only 1 cup of coffee allowed per breakfast,"you want anymore honey you gotta pay",disgraceful, even though it says quite clearly in the room info,"complementary coffee in reception 5am to 10am".,

Stay was nice but I was not happy the hotel charged me a $20 accidental fee. If I broke something fine but since my wife nor I broke anything, why was I charged?
