We arrived at 8pm after a 10 drive...there were construction workers right outside or door nailing on the underside of the overhang repairing some joists. I finally called the front desk - he was nice and did have them stop at about 9 pm. The room was dirty....literally had something sticky in a huge spot of the carpet so that my shoes stuck to it....the beds were hard and had springs that had sprung and were poking out of the mattress..the pillows were cheap ones that had been washed and had balls of filling so no matter what you did - your head was laying flat on the bed with two balls of stuffing clamped on either side....the ice machine was broken.........need I say more?

Hot rooms, bad service

They do not turn on the air conditioners prior to your arrival, therefore the interior of the room was a sweltering 94 degrees when we arrived. It took 4 hours for the air conditioner to finally cool the room to a tolerable level, and that was only after nightfall. The manager said there was nothing he could do.

There were only a few things wrong with the room but not major things. The tub stopper didn't work and the door handle was hard to open to leve and get in. The room was clean. I didn't eat breakfast so I can't comment in that. Overall it was a good place to stay overnight. Loved that Applebee's was right by the hotel.

There is a theater and a bar and grill within walkin distance. The froghead has the best cheese sticks I've ever had!
