“Amazing”

Handford House Inn was a breath of fresh air. When my husband and I walked into the reception desk we were incapvated by a wonderful smell of oatmeal cookies, I asked the lady working "what smells so good?" and she replied "oh...they just made granola for tomorrows breakfast!" Right then and there I knew..this place is going to be great. When we checked in we were given 3 times slots the next morning to choose to be served breakfast. We were also told that in addition breakfast there would be fresh scones dropped by our door at 7:30am. Also if we would like to come by the lobby later that evening there would be a complementary glass of wine and a cheese platter out from 5-6pm. Needless to say all of the food was great...the blueberry scones melted in your mouth and, at breakfast there was yogurt and the freshly made granola, fresh fruit, chicken sausage & eggs benedict with spinnach tomatoes and avocado, i felt completly pampered. Food was amazing and the room was great. I am a very picky about what kind of mattress I sleep on. At home I have a temperpedic bed. Well Hanford House Inn wins here too. We had a pillow top mattress that was so comfortable i slept like a baby. Pillows were down and the sheets silky smooth. Crisp white towels that smelled so fresh you did not worry about smooshing your face into them as you got out of the shower. My husband and I only stayed one night and were sad to leave. Next time we go we are bringing a group of friends and staying longer!!!

“Nice but noisy.”

Nice place, good food, and access to a computer. My room was small and noisy, as it was by an exterior door, and other guests were in and out until quite late and talking in the hall
