Problems with rooms Included curtains not closing,Posted Jun 7, 2015
Rooms were either missing or had broken coffee pots even when we asked them to furnish them. Toilet seat was loose. Blinds would not close in one room. Disappointed but they did comp the rooms

Great Location but that's about it.Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: The common areas of the hotel are great. Great lobby, bar, business areas, meeting rooms, etc.
Cons: Room quality. Better beds. Improve maintenance of the rooms. Ensure things are not missing. Ensure that everything is working.
Location: The location is central to everything but beware of walking the streets after dark. Not the safest downtown after dark.
This hotel is within 15 minutes walking distance from the venue at which the event we were attending was to take place. That is how we ended up here and we wish we could take it back. To start off the common areas of the hotel are great and well maintained. Outside of that I can't say that anything else is great. The room that we got was terrible. We were there with other family members that were staying in other rooms and they had similar problems. For us, the main issue was the beds. Both beds were broken. The beds have comfort setting that allow you to dial in the firmness settings. This setting was broken on both beds. On one bed, the setting was stuck somewhere in the middle and was reasonably comfortable for short periods of time. On the second bed, the controls were stuck on fully soft on one side of the bed and fully firm on the other side of the bed. This means that we did not get very much sleep the 2 nights we were there. Additionally, the iron, ironing board, and coffee makers that are standard in all rooms were missing. All three items were replaced after request. The replacement iron and ironing board may as well have been picked up out of the dumpster based on their condition. Let's just say we had to clean the iron blade and drape the bed sheets over the board in order to use each without ruining our clothing. Lack of quality sleep and missing essential items made this experience just terrible.

Why close the bar when people still want to pay money to relax, especially when all the other bars in the area are noisy, smelly and rough. There was nowhere for us to get a nightcap.
