Short and simple...

Pros: Right off the highway and beds were so comfortable.
Cons: Upgrade some of the decor but not much was a good stay.
Location: Nothing really. Tried to find some of the dining options that we found on YELP and that did not work out. Went to the "buffet" across the street.
Check in was super easy and got a nice upgrade to a King. Front desk staff were very nice and courteous. Some of the linens and curtains had stains/water marks on them, but I wasn't too concerned since the room was nice and clean. The king room was HUGE and had plenty of seating. Bathroom was nice and clean as well. Used the workout room, small and simple but did what I needed it to. Breakfast.....ehhh that could be better but not bad for free and very clean stations. Checkout was quick and easy. Overall very pleasant stay and will definitely come back.

Pros: Breakfast provided
Cons: Television was dated and had problems with the screen.
Location: Plenty of restaurants/fast food places nearby.
Overall the Hotel was good. Very close to interstate 55.

The only difference I can see between this La Quinta and the Hampton and Holiday Inn Express on the same road is that the La Quinta provides the the local paper and the others provides the USA Today. The continental breakfast is very similar to the others. Quality of the rooms and facilities are equal to the others.

Terrible Housekeeping & Management Culture

Had to switch rooms when checking in due to dirty underwear and soap in tub. Second room a/c didn't work. Maint second day moved all our belongings back to first room without our knowledge or permission. Room still had not been cleaned??? Moved back to second room no being for folks out sofa? ....and management's solution was a $50 credit on a $180 bill??? ...I didn't want a refund, I wanted a clean room, and professional service. Even La Quinta cust svc was no help? Never again.

Location: near jackson ms as you enter from the north
clean hotel. Beds very comfortable, well lighted and the breakfast was surprisingly good.
