“Cheap Stay”

The price was right, the room was nice, but the elevator had a burning smell and the neighborhood isn't the best. However, it's very convenient to downtown Jackson and the Trade Mart area and I would stay there again on my next trip.

“GOOD, INEXPENSIVE ROOM”

PROS; ROOM WAS MOSTLY CLEAN, WAS COMFORTABLE, QUIET. ENOUGH DRAWER SPACE, ENOUGH TOWELS, TISSUE,ETC. CABLE TV. NOTHING FANCY BUT SUFFICIENT.EVERYTHING IN THE ROOM WORKED GOOD. IT WAS A GOOD ROOM FOR THE MONEY. CONS: THE BIGGEST ONE WAS THAT THE BATHTUB WAS NOT AS CLEAN AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN; THERE WAS A HAIR IN IT, AND IT WASN'T A HEAD HAIR. THERE WASN'T REALLY ENOUGH SPACE AT THE SINK AREA, TOWEL BARS, ETC.

“Good value but itchy sheets were a problem”

Decent, no-frills, and a good value for travelers. However, the hotel uses a harsh laundry detergent which made the sheets feel very itchy. Didn't sleep well. Not recommended for travelers with sensitive skin (mine isn't).

“smoking room can't be changed”

the host were courteous but the room was HORRIBLE! supposed to be "non-smoking" but the smell was bad and got worse. Should have known when we found several burned spots on the comforter. while using the bathroom I found the "wall saver" full of ashes. sprays can only mask smoking odor for a few minutes.

“Gross”

Customer Service was friendly, but the room was in horrible condition. It was a non-smoking room that reeked of stale smoke. The comforter had multiple cigarette holes burned in it. If the room wasn't already paid for and I wasn't so exhausted because I check in late, I would have left to go to another hotel.
