Filthy and unprofessional.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: absolutely nothing. We had an emergency 15 minutes after checking in and had to leave. A blessing in disguise. They refused to refund.
Cons: corporate could investigate.
Location: A beautiful Hampton Inn next door. I recommend staying their.
When I walked in the staff was on the phone with a personal matter yelling and swearing at the person on the other end. Another staff member came out trying to tell her not to talk like that while laughing at her actions. They apologized to me as well as the other guest that were checking, but then also added ''_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _, I told her to not call me at work right now, I am busy." I was surprised with the language as well as the explanation that I was to accept this. Corporate should be notified. I signed a form to hold us responsible if we smoked in the room. We do not smoke, but the room was filthy and smelled extremely bad of smoke.

Convenient location at a good price

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: I liked the location and the price.
Cons: See above. Attention to details
Location: It was convenient to the interstate and to relatives I was visiting for a 60th wedding anniversary party. We visited an auto museum close by.
The bath area was the most disappointing. Someone had done a very amateur job of plastering around the tub/shower. Also, there was mildew growing in the grout around the tub.In the breakfast area the circuit breaker[s] kept blowing. [Too many electrical items on the circuit ] Also, I had booked two nights, and was phoned by the front desk the next morning while I was busy with my day and planned activities. They were telling me that I had only booked for one night, and that I could not stay there as they were completely booked for that night. "It's not our fault." I didn't appreciate this attitude. However, when I asked them to locate me a room somewhere in this city, the clerk phoned back shortly to say that she had double-checked the reservation. It was for two nights, and that she had moved things around so I could remain in my room. With some improvement this could be a good hotel.I

Not happy; didn't get the room I booked

Posted Jul 29, 2014
I booked a double room so my daughters and I could get a good night's sleep before a long fundraising bike ride. They switched us to a single room and said we could have a cot. Then they switched us to a king. I'm not sure when they put the cot outside since we were already asleep. All 3 of us in a king bed that was quite lumpy and uncomfortable.

No elevator, warm throughout building except fot room. Room clean but very rundown. Bedframe larger than matress, hardware sticking out (hazardous!). Could tell room had been changed with holes in wall, etc. Not attractive or welcoming.

Quiet location, not bad for price & one night.

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: The price was great and the TV worked fine. They had put new carpet in our room and it the location was quiet and close to the highways and resturants
Cons: I would replace the stained but clean bedspreads. I would chalk around the bath tub The tub mat was worn it looked dirty so toss them out & touch up
Location: This hotel is near Red Lobster, Bob Evans, Starbucks. It is close to Kohls, Sears and other stores. Go see the Cascades waterfalls in the summer.
We arrived tired and the hotel was next to pricey hotels at the end of a quiet street. It is older but adequate for people wanting to watch their money and not expecting a 4 Star Hotel. The only thing I did not like was the bedspreads were old and that is the first thing you see. We threw them back and the blankets and sheets were clean and slept fine. The remote on the TV did not work but the lady at the desk exchanged it and all was fine. The carpet looked new and we did not see any bugs so we slept fine.
