Fun hotel close to shopping and food

My daughter and I were planning a shopping getaway in Town Center on way to Amelia Island. Could not have chosen a better hotel/location for this day

Great Hotel

I was kind of skeptical wondering if the hotel would really look like the pictures but it actually does! This is a very modern hotel kind of an industrial look to it. The bed was very comfortable but you echo a lot in the hallways you could really other guests from their rooms. The hotel staff was amazing they were all really sweet. We thought they served free breakfast but you have to pay for that and its kind of pricey. They have an awesome infinity pool with a pretty view that was also heated and clean. Overall we loved the hotel, we would definitely stay again, but if you are used to traditional hotels and don't want a change you may not really appreciate the modern aspects.

Nice Peaceful Location

Pros: The modern Decor and the staff.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.....maybe a restaurant attached, but Seven Bridges was right across the street and was excellent.
Location: Seven Bridges is great food and right across the street. You are about 12 miles from the beach and 10 miles from Everbank.
The hotel had the most amazing front desk staff that I have ever had in a hotel stay. They were super friendly and were always in a great mood. They were very welcoming and acccommodating during our stay at the hotel.

Unfortunate experience

Pros: Facilities are nice, rooms are comfortable and clean when we arrived.
Cons: Relationship with Expedia as they claim Expedia is the issue.
Booked 3 rooms to accommodate 7 adults. Booked through Expedia two months in advance, paid and received confirmation for 1 room with a king bed and 2 rooms with 2 queens. Arrived at hotel for check-in, but were informed only had 3 rooms available with king beds. We were offered a twin inflatable mattress to be added to one of the rooms, or our money back. Staff claimed to have this issue with Expedia all the time and that we would have to deal with Expedia. After checking availability in nearby hotels, we took the inflatable mattress option. Next morning maid service knocked at 9:00AM on Saturday,we were still getting ready so requested later service. Rooms were never done, when we brought this to the attention of the front desk, they apologized. Further research showed we had "refused" maid service. This was incorrect, we requested later service. Nice facilities, location is close to many restaurants,etc. hotel concept is interesting. Hotel had come recommended by our daughter who had stayed at the Tallahassee location. Probably just a bad experience for us, but multiple issues. I am 57 years old and have never felt the need to write a review and I am not usually a complainer. However this was frustrating and I feel they did little to ease our problems. At least one other person was on the phone with similar issues.

Terrific Hotel. 15mi from beach or city

Stayed a few nights during USA soccer game. Wonderful hotel & staff. Clean, fresh and quite. Nice pool, right next to Starbucks and restaurants.

Thank you for the kind comments. Yes, we have a terrific location. We are centrally located to all of Jacksonville's best features and we have the Town Center just a mile or so away. Fine dining, great shopping and all that Jacksonville has to offer just a few minutes away.

Location: There are nearby things to see and eat within walking distance
Everyone was very proffessional and helpful. I loved the shuttle and the opportunities to get to places. I reccomend this place to everyone.

Good hotel

Stood 2 nights, staff was very nice, room was clean, hotel it's in a great location near restaurants, movie theater, places to walk, etc... Dog friendly staff was very friendly to him. They advertise they give ur pet a bed and a bowl but I didn't get those. My only complaint really it's the noise level at night you can hear everything the cars all night long going down the street, peoples conversations down at the pool. Besides that it's was a great stay !

Awesome staff and hotel

Pros: The cleanliness and comfort of the room.
Cons: Improve the doors to guest rooms to make them shut more quietly.
Location: We came into town for the PGA The Player's Championship and got in some shopping as well.
The staff was great. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the door. Check in was a breeze and very quick, there was not a long line and our guest services person was very friendly and explained all the amenities to us. Once we got to our room we found it to be very cozy, clean and comfortable. The decor of the rooms and hallways were very appealing and bright. The only issue/concern I had with the hotel was hearing other guest slam their doors in the middle of the night, other than that our stay was great. I would recommend to my friends and would stay here again on our next visit to Jacksonville.
