Staff confusedPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Nice location. Good breakfast fare.
Cons: As mentioned above, better staff training may be needed with the change of brand.
This hotel changed brands between our booking and our arrival. It had changed from a Hampton Inn, which we prefer, to a Country Inns & Suites motel. The staff was confused over our original Hampton reservations and it took a while to clarify the matter. Perhaps this will get better as the change-over is completed.

Wet Carpet & Musty OdorPosted Sep 12, 2014
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: We were there to visit the Mayo clinic and had no time to be tourists.
A leak from the window air conditioner had been going on for some time and the room carpet was soaked near the window and desk area. We noticed the odor when we checked in but had to leave the hotel to make our medical appointments at the nearby Mayo Clinic. When we got back to the room it was very late so we just put up with it for the one night. When we told the staff about the problem they didn't seem to be bothered at all and merely said "those older air conditioners are a problem". The whole hotel was run down in appearance and that was a big surprise to me as I usually find Hampton Inns to be quite good. Oh well, next time we'll stay somewhere else.

OverbookedPosted Jul 31, 2014
Went to the hotel after my late flight only to find that they were overbooked. That left me wandering around searching for a hotel at midnight.

Very upsetPosted Jun 17, 2014
I booked a room with two double beds and was given a king with a cot. The cot was so uncomfortable. I would never recommend the Hampton Inn again. They blamed expedia for overbooking, that is not my fault or what I paid for!!

For a Hampton Inn, this was just okPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: More room in the vanity area, no room at all at the sink.
Was a little disappointed with the overall trip to this Hampton. I stay at Hampton's all the time & this one was not the best.

Good for the pricePosted Jun 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Not nearly as bad as some of the previous comments suggested. My room had been brought up to date, but still the room for some reason seemed dated. Part of the carpeting which serves as a base molding pulled away from the wall, the bathroom faucet would only stay on if it was full on, the water was barely warm if I showered at 6PM, and printing a receipt at checkout took way longer than it should have. I would stay there again only if I needed to save some money.

One Night Stay - Hampton off I-95/Butler BoulevardPosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
We love Hampton and try to make it our choice hotel whenever possible. Since we were unable to get the amount of days needed at another Hampton, we chose to stay here. The staff here were VERY friendly, our bed was, of course, very comfortable, the bathroom badly needs renovation, the morning breakfast was minimal compared to other hotels - Hampton or other. I overheard that there was going to be a renovation so maybe that's the situation. Another plus was that this particular Hampton still offered the delicious cut up fresh fruit - other Hamptons have chosen new fruit and honestly it's horrible. This Hampton still has the good fruit. For a traveler in town on business this is an ideal location. Great staff!

Convenient, Affordable, Comfortable StayPosted May 25, 2014
It's literally in a neighborhood of hotels. I was debating between this one and more expensive hotels and they are literally all down the street (walking distance), around the corner or across the street. I'm glad I chose this one. It was cheap, convenient, the room was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the breakfast selection was good. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I'd stay here again.
