Great hotel, room not clean

We checked In with two rooms for a night. The hotel itself is great, wonderful location, great ambiance, comfortable and the room set up was great. One of the rooms was in order and ok. The other room however was dirty, and when my friend pulled back the covers of her bed it was covered in pubic hair. It was disgusting. She works as a county health inspector so clearly this set her on a compete examination of both room in which she found several items that, in the county where she works, would have constituted violations. She called downstairs to complain and they told her there was no one to clean the room etc, she had to go down to the desk in her pajamas at midnight, demand new linens and then she ended up sleeping on the floor in my room. So the room we paid for was not even used. We talked to management in the morning and they said they would refund that room, but it takes over a month when you book through Expedia. Sincr she had to sleep in my room, and I did not get what I paid for either, I personally think we should have been refunded the entire stay. Other than that, the hotel was a great experience. I've stayed here before and would still recommend the facilities, providing they are clean.

Great Jags / EverBank Field Weekend Hotel

Stayed here while attending a Jacksonville Jaguars game. A short drive to / from Everbank Field and very convenient to I-95. Also convenient to Publix and eateries you might want to do in conjunction with a football trip. Next morning we were quickly on I-95 headed to St Augustine at the beach. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Thumbs up !!!
