Days Inn & Suites Amelia Island At the Beach

We needed a place to stay for the night and decided to give it a try. It was not the newest motel by any means, but it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Staff was extremely helpful in everyway! Couldn't ask for anything more from them. Our first night was very noisy outside, but with graduation and everything else going on, it was to be expected. But extremely loud truck screeching tires in the parking lot at early hours of the morning was very uncalled for~ Other than that, it was very pleasant. The room was very cool, we didn't expect the mini kitchen, which was a huge surprise. Overall, it was a very nice to spend Memorial Day Weekend!

We enjoyed our trip but this location attracted a lot of folks out forarty. At 230 a.m our neighbors cranked up their music and conversations we waited a bit for them to settle in. Didn't happen so we called front desk they came over right away and asked them to quiet down. Well they turned off their music but it was at least another hour or so before theysettled down........ management never followed il with them....... other than that inconvenience it was a nice stay but next time we may optfor a quieter more relaxing place to stay

Certainly this is the nicest Days Inn I've visited. Definitely very well maintained. And the pool is huge.

In the first room I checked into, the A/C was not working. I was given another room with no problem, but noticed a spider web in the corner after staying there the night.

For the price you cannot beat it. You can walk to the beach. Sliders (a great resaturant is within walking distance). Keep in mind you get a very cheap breakfast in the morning but it will fill you up until you eat lunch at the local amazing restaurants. The room is a little older with older televisions but if you are there to watch tv you came to the wrong place! You will get a discount at Sliders for staying at this hotel. We only found out when the waiter saw our room key. The hotel staff is very friendly. We had a couple of maintenance issues and they came immediately to fix. We plan on staying there again.

It was okay and fit our needs perfectly but it wasn't 5 star.

This hotel was not the nicest of hotels but the location was perfect! There was a wonderful, reasonably priced seafood eesturant literally across the street. AND the beach was one block down so we wal ked everytime we went. I'm definitely going back there!

Read some of the prior comments...but I must say we were very pleasantly surprized! We would definitely stay here again.....clean...staff was very accomodating and fit all of our needs. The proximity to the beach(walking distance) was fantastic. The only recommendation was the breakfast. On Vacation, I do not care to get up at the crack of dawn...closed up at 9 am. Something other than danish and cereal would have been nice....fresh fruit would have been nice and maybe an hour later!

Great location, my mother of 80 had no troubles walking to beach from hotel. Will book again very soon. Again thanks for the great stay.
