Trust me in this case the reviews are absolutely correct! This place should be shut down immediately! Its nasty they have stains everywhere on the beds! It smells bad! Upon my arrival people were standing around the building drinking and smoking! In the morning kids were running up and down the stairs making so much noise! My whole experience in Jacksonville was horrible! Not a place I will be visiting anytime soon!

The sprinkler head was totally corroded. I don’t think it could work. There was mould in the room. There was no blanket on the bed, only a thin very stained sheet, we were very cold. The taps were loose and mounted wrongly. Paint had peeled off the walls or had been scraped off. There were no handrails on the bathtub. A smelly cardboard air freshener was hung on the heater/air conditioner in an attempt to cover up the stale odour in the room. The floor was sticky and dirty. There was a pile of cigarette butts, ashes, bits of garbage at the main rear door. This place would not pass a Health and Safety Inspection. I recommend that Expedia remove it from their website.

Place appeared to be where homeless people stay at night. Reeked of smoke. Arrived at 3am with random people in the stairwell. Stairs were full of trash including used bandages. Sheets appeared clean but i was compeled to look for bed bugs. Didn't see any. Waited for the sun to come up and got out of there fast. Curtains dusty with burn holes, floor had burn marks and window was completely gross.

If you’re just passing through and need a place to sleep and aren’t too picky then this place will do. It’s clean for the most part (just don’t older). The bed is terrible, very hard. Not much for lighting in the room. The bathroom light and then a wall lamp on each side of the bed. There was a microwave but no fridge. The walls are VERY thin. I was woken up each morning by the people above me getting ready. They weren’t stomping around or anything it’s just that easy to hear everything! Staff was friendly. Good cheap place for a quick overnight but wouldn’t stay here for more than a night or two.

The room smelled like an ashtray. Dirty and run down hotel. It was disgusting. There were people loitering throughout the hotel smoking weed in the hallways all night. I left at 3 am and there were still people smoking weed in the hallways. My time was very limited. I only needed a few hours sleep or I would never have stayed there.

Stayed here over the weekend. Building looks great in photos. Rooms look decent in photos. For a non smoking hotel, the hall ways and linens sure do smell of cigarette and marijuana. People hanging out front and around the building at all hours of the day and night, apparently “long term residents”. Bed was lopsided, chair in the room had serious signs of wear like missing fabric on the seat. Needless to say, we wont be back.

People are standing outside smoking all day. Mattress had a hole, the hole was covered by pillow cases. Called the front desk at 3 am because people were running up and down the hallway banging on walls and playing loud music. Front desk said she didn’t see anyone in the hallway there was nothing she could do about it. We had the hotel room for 6 nights we only stayed 1 night. I do believe that people live in the hotel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO STAY!!

Honestly. This place looks nothing like the pictures. I found roaches, ashes, and rat poop in my room. This place is extremely unsafe. People live here. There’s prostitution going on at night and people constantly hanging around in the front all night. I had no other choice but to stay there bc it was close to where I needed to be but I would never come back here. A lot of gang activity at night. As mentioned prostitution and found baggies of drugs in the staircase. Also people smoking weed weed and crack in the stair cases.

Took an extremely long time to check in. I was given a room that was already occupied. There was old french fries and used q tips swept into a corner behind the bathroom door. The floors in the hallway were stained and filthy. Black stains on shower curtain, was cloths,and bath towels. The outside window of the double pane window had a large hole in it.

Our room was literally so disgusting that we wanted to leave but we couldn’t get a refund and everywhere else was full. The pillow case had a lot of foundation/makeup on it, the floors were not clean and not swept, there was trash in the shower from the previous occupant, the tub had soap and grime build up, and the towels had hairs in all of them. Literally the worst and most unclean hotel I have ever seen. The front desk offered zero apologies, no solutions, and no refund. The surrounding area was also sketchy. Strongly discourage unless you’re desperate, have no other options, and are willing to risk it.
