Definitely not my best Experience with EmbassyPosted Jun 27, 2015
Checked-in at midnight on Monday, June 22, 2015. It was a rough trip with three kids after working a full day. Entered room 350 to hear the loudest noise you can imagine. It was the air conditioner. With no energy to complain, we simply turned it off for the night. Entered the restroom to take a shower. There was no soap or towels.. Definitely called to get those toiletries. The breakfast was wonderful! Upon checkout, I let the front desk clerk know. Of course, no empathy or concern. I simply let her know that I had prepaid for Friday and to please provide a better room. I checked in today and my experience was much better. I enjoyed the reception and the room was fully stocked with an awesome air conditioner unit. I am pleased now!

Very nice SuitePosted Jun 22, 2015
Cons: Nothing as far as I am concerned.
Location: Great location, we were in the area to look at homes because we are relocating to FL.
Booked this because I had the offer of $50.00 off for a Fathers Day Special. We love Embassy Suites. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Like the happy hour and free breakfast. Had King Suite with Balcony, very nice for us since we are smokers. We could go out on balcony to smoke and did not have to go downstairs to do so, since we had children with us. Definitely would stay here again.

Animal House-Way too noisyPosted May 26, 2015
Atrium echoed partying all night into our room on the 6th floor. Called the front desks and they warned the partiers only to go outside and party there. Then we had to call again because it was so loud it seemed like they were outside our window. Kids couldn't sleep and neither could we. Checked out days early so we could go to a quitter hotel and get some sleep.

This was the worst Embassy Suites I have ever seenPosted May 26, 2015
This was a terrible hotel. Nothing like an Embassy Suites. The hotel it self is small. The staff had a difficult time keeping up with the guest. At breakfast they ran out of plates and did not keep the buffet full. Guest had to wait forever for everything. It was hard to find any seats at breakfast. At night it was so loud due to the guest in the commen area it was hard to rest and get some sleep until about 2am!On the next day I asked for housekeeping to come clean my tub and bring us some towels. Due to the don't disturb sign on the door because I never got to sleep until 3am! I was told that because they're so booked it may not happen. When I went to the front desk to ask what was the issue. I was told it will be handled but they are short staffed. Upon my return that evening I found towels left on a chair and my tub had not been cleaned or even touched. I've never experienced such poor service from an Embassy Suites staff. From this experience I would NEVER return or recommend this hotel to anyone! It should have a different name because it is a TERRIBLE hotel!

Double Check your reservation with the Hotel!Posted May 25, 2015
Over all the Hotel was nice. They are remodeling and it will be nicer when finished. I enjoyed the sports bar on location, food was good beer was cold and bartender was nice. The meet and greet which I understand included free drinks and snacks never worked into our schedule so we did not get a chance to enjoy. The rooms were nice suites with plenty of room. Our bathroom drain was slow but not too irritating. The main problem I had with this hotel is on check in I was told I did not have a reservation. I have made reservations with expedia for over 10 years and have never had them tell me I had no reservation. I was treated very rudely when I insisted I did have a reservation and that she should recheck. I took out my phone and was calling expedia when she came back and told me I did have a reservation but at the time I made my reservation there was no rooms available. Well expedia never lets you make a reservation if there are no rooms available and this was just a poor excuse for the hotel not doing what it is suppose to do. We did get a room but I hate to think what would have happened if one had not become available. The check in was so madding I had a hard time enjoying the hotel. The desk clerk refused to apologize and tried to make it all Expedias or my fault. Bad customer service if you ask me.

Close to graduation.Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: The location and how close it was to the attractions I visited while in the area.
Cons: Making sure that if you're going to offer items to sale (razors, toothpaste, etc.) that you have enough items in stock especially during the weekend.
Location: Located just right off I-95, there is an outdoor mall that is located 15 minutes from the hotel and plenty of good restaurants are nearby.
While pleased overall with the location, I wished I had paid closer attention to the fact that there was construction taking place at the hotel while I was there. This was minor, but it made for a maze to try and get around the hotel. I did notice that when I first checked into my room, it appeared that the housekeeper had been in a hurry to clean because I noticed a wet hand towel left behind. Other than that everything went smoothly with my stay.

Good locationPosted May 11, 2015
we were here for a the PGA Players championship. We chose this location because we love embassy suite hotels, its location was central to everything, and right off I-95. Since the tournament was in St Augustine, it was a quick 20 minute drive. For night life, we ventured north to Downtown Jacksonville, 15 minute drive. There was great shopping close by at the town crossing. The Staff was pleasant and fast. The hotel was going through a renovation, so that lessened the overall satisfaction, but that was beyond anyone's control. it would have been nice to be forewarned though. overall great for the price. would absolutely stay there again.
